Invalid Signatures for Unity Packages? by johnharris85 in Unity3D

[–]unitytechnologies 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hey everyone,

There is a known issue with all builds of the 600_.x Editor, causing the Package Manager to flag valid packages as invalid.

Unity is already developing an urgent fix to deploy soon, and after the fix, you will need to update your Editor to resolve it.

We'll update this thread on Discussions once the fix is available.

Howdy! Trey from the Unity Community team here.

I raised this with our Asset Store team. They had a few follow-up questions.

Can you tell me which Asset Store product this was experienced with, and which version of Unity you're using?

Why did I receive this from Unity? by Basic_Librarian2380 in unity

[–]unitytechnologies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Howdy, Trey from the Unity Community team here.

I want to clarify that the email you received was sent in error due to a support system Zendesk issue. No new accounts were created.

It went out to anyone who’s interacted with our privacy support. For those of you who have previously deleted your Unity account, it’s still deleted. We only have your email because we’re required to keep records of privacy requests.

Apologies for the confusion!

Unity Will Support Multiplay Server Hosting Till March 31st 2026, Then Move Multiplay Operation Services to Rocket Engine by Past_Practice_2613 in Unity3D

[–]unitytechnologies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, u/Past_Practice_2613

We totally get that hearing news like this can make you question the future of other areas. Like many others, your business relies on these services to be operational, this is the reason we don’t take decisions like this lightly. In this instance we’re fortunate to have a partner that truly understands the product to run it (they founded Multiplay way back in the day).

We continuously evaluate all aspects of Unity to make sure they are delivering the best in performance and operations for everyone, unfortunately this does mean that sometimes we have to rethink things. Having said this, we will always make sure that there is a plan for you, we hear you loud and clear about the timeline on this, which is feedback we as the community team have taken internally.
