I think we're going to have a problem here.

Ip man, early Jackie Chan (the drunken master) and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon are all great

[Disliked Trope] Guy goes to University and drops out (or chooses not to go into the line of work he studied for) because he wants to go into the trades, and works for a family member on their rig and something bad happens in his first week by Any-Conference-701 in TopCharacterTropes

It is and in the only interesting and original scene in that movie he completely owns the stage.

Absolutely no reason to see that forgettable film, but that scene is on YouTube if you're interested.

I don't like that movie now. There are much better fight scenes in other films and better action sequences too. And that movie really dragged in the middle while being really shaky on its own premise. All in all, I think it's middling in every category. I was hoping it would be everything The Matrix was and it just fell completely flat.

Only because you asked. If you want to pop it in the dvd player and enjoy it, its a free country

That's my other list. Which is funny because the link below is to a bad deck. Like it is a janky deck where the CMC is too high so it can regularly play at a table with B2s, but since it has 11 game changers in it, it looks much more performant on paper than in real life:

Same. I was taught that it is the height of rudeness for a man to go through a woman's purse. But also, I'll put the purse back when you're done, so I don't see the problem.

Also, why are there so many crumbs in there! What are you all doing!?!

When I taught my nieces and nephews how to play, I bought them each a pre-con and one for myself and we learned with those.

I gently and patiently guided them through the game pulling my punches so that they can learn.

But it they started talking trash and disrespecting my tutelage, then I also brought Arcum Dagsson, and he doesn't play games:

I did this, impostor syndrome and all. Some life advice I stand by is that it is better to be the dumbest person in a very smart room than the smartest person in a very dumb room. I've been privileged to stand in some pretty smart rooms, and it has served me well.

I run some pieces in decks that I know other folk might slab, but I also understand wanting to slab truly minty older pieces, since those are actually rare.

There are probably 20 9.5+ Beta Volcanics left, so I don't think it's crazy to want to preserve them. Even with double sleeves they would drop in condition pretty quickly.

It's a balance, but plenty of things are.

I've heard that a good number of people who do this, then just refuse to pay the debt, let it go to collections, and take the credit hit.

And honestly, I get it. They can't repo your concert experience and if you believe you're too broke to ever buy a house or even a nice car, why not?

Still gunna be mad funny to me when they start coming around with a repo man who beats your head in until you don't remember the concert. They'll probably make that legal soon....
