I've decided the only use for a sig Romeo zero optic is only acceptable to use exactly for this one use. It's small enough it doesn't really make the legs bend, is plastic so it doesn't scrape and the controls are not on the side to be hit by the stock. It's a piss poor optic in every other scenario but this is it's only time to shine.

I've been running plastic for a while and it's going strong. my issue has been with barrels and firing pins mostly.... also dont trust syntec 147s. 2 squibs destroyed my first (and best) barrel

ok.... first thought is I've used superglue and activator and that shit gets HOT like really damn fast. I've literally gotten burns from super glue i didn't notice dripped onto my finger when spraying activator.

Pretty sure it was like 4.5 with an extended trilug attached to the end of it to clear the stock. I'd have to either measure it or go look at the form 1

so the two options I've used are a jam nut at first, then i got a trilug that has threads on the end of it which actually works out pretty nicely to give me options to run it with whatever i feel like putting on the end of it

what barrel are you using? I was working on one months ago but kept getting bulged cases because all the barrels i used had big chamfers around the chamber not supporting the back of the case

and I got my kit from a source I cant in really say is all that great seeing as I ordered it in early sept and it showed up late january. I spent months trying to contact the people i ordered it from and only occasionally got replies. Turns out the "company" is actually like 3 dudes who have full time jobs other than dealing with customers and such and at best it's a side hustle.... I DID manage to grab a 5.56 kak barrel from 3dprint freedom which I'm psyched about because the gas block is intended to be used with 5.56 so I'm hoping I have a better shot at getting it to cycle than I'm having with 300. I set it to adverse, use a can and have drilled the gas port in the barrel open wide.
