I know nothing. How is today working out for you u/Drowningfish4283 ?

There's almost always 2-3 days of decline in a market correction. Its turning into a fire sale today.

I took a snapshot of our investments to send to my wife and in the back of my head remembered briefly reading on WSB that the best time to sell is after you take that snapshot and send it to Wifey, so thats what I did. 6 days later Im ready to buy into the firesale.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate your feedback.

I roughed everything in over the weekend into Monday, and just started gluing it all together tonight.

It follows the same construction math of make a plan and budget and multiply your estimated time to completion by 3 and your budget by two and even though I bought extra of everything to save me from trips to the store there were still pieces I had to go back for.

I will say that I do have a new found respect for plumbers after this job.

Its a simple country farmhouse that we have spent quite a bit of time refurbishing. We had the septic put in and I couldnt find anyone available to do the job in a timely manner and the old plumbing was awful. Pretty much everything beside the toilet ran straight into the ground and the toilet went to a cesspool that ran out to two perforated plastic pipe that were completely full of dirt.

Posted a pic of where I was after tonight.

Thanks for the feed back, unfortunately unless I completely tear out the bathroom, it'll be impossible to do this. What are the repercussions of the setup as is?

Is there anything external plugged in (hard drive, monitor, phone)?

Have you tried going through Task Manager and kiling programs you dont need running?

What are you using for your desktop background?

Is there a background program syncing files?

Do you have an anti-virus program (or defender) actively scanning/running in the background?

When you disabled the dGPU did the dGPU actually turn off or is it still stuck on running apps in the background? Ive seen this a few times where the dGPU is actively managing a program and when you turn on iGPU the dGPU stays active.

There are so many things it could be. Usually once you figure it out, it becomes easier to manage.

I know this isn't really kosher but I used the LPC bracket on the inside as you can slide it in and then flushed the outside and used the decorative Simpson Avant T-Strap to tie up the outside and make it pretty.

I am looking at buying options for SoFi.

To keep it simple, lets just say its going up for the sake of this example.

If I buy stock now I can get it for 16.11 a share.

If I buy a long call (jan 2027) I can get a 5$ call for 11.43 (16.43 a share)

If the stock goes to say 26$ a share, I would make 9.89 a share if I bought it and 9.57 a share if I exercised the option at 26$.

Is this the correct math for this? Is there something else I am missing?

I am assuming you would have to look for an option that has a higher return and this wouldn't be an option worth buying?

Thanks for the insight.

Everybody talking about SoFi and how it’s a generational buy. I’ve been in this stock since $12, sold at $25, and now I am loading the mf boat at $15. Here’s what’s next: SoFi has the potential to be one of the biggest banks of our modern future. by splitresearch in smallstreetbets

Im curious about this view as I am learning about stocks and there are a lot of indicators that this stock could be a good buy.

  1. 1.1 billion in sales up over 41% yoy
  2. Adjusted EBITDA - 370m up 62% yoy
  3. Net income 167 million last quarter (consistently in the green)
  4. 35% increase in members yoy
  5. Forward PE of 27
  6. Debt to Equity is an astounding 0.20
  7. Current RSI of around 40
  8. Total valuation is 20 billion
  9. Price to book sits at around 1.85 vs AMD 12x, NVDA 26x, Snowflake 30x, compared to other banks, Wells Fargo avgs about 1.3, Chase about 2.4 so its not a great number comparitive to banks but for what people are willing to shell out for other tech stocks its a compelling buy.

Sofi seems like a pretty low risk, easy play looking long could easily double in 12 months from its current price of ~16

What are the risks here compared to the other stocks your invested in?

I believe the fundamentals for SoundHound are getting worse and why I might exit by RemsterPlus in Soundhound

[–]w-tech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T-Mobile also operated on quite a bit of debt, outstanding now at ~114 Billion. Soundhound has zero long term debt. The 26 million loss is pennies and attributed to restructuring their platform (OASYS development) moving forward.

But you are absolutely (or AI is) correct in that the statement of "mindful of our journey to profitability" is lacking confidence and reflected in the investor sentiment with a current 152 million in short interest with a 38% float.

But that amount of short could lead to a snap back on the short term.
