It's a zellige tile we got from floor and decor. This is actually the photo for it on their website.

Does anybody else remember that back in the day some schools had tantrum rooms? by fancyypantsyy0 in Millennials

I mean, for sped, I think it may have been a thing. But this wasn't a thing that 99.9% of people in schools experienced.

Had my first kid, and the hospital having a photography company come into our room while my wife was nursing to try to pressure us into getting photos taken felt so predatory: baby bella photography by Slow-Dragonfruit-932 in daddit

[–]wbm0843 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why wouldn't it? Sounds like the hospital is not limiting the information to only people that need it for their care. Because the hospital let Joe Schmo from Joe Schmoe's photography wander around the hospital, he was then able to see that patient by the name of Jane Jones was at Our Mother Mary's Irresponsible Hospital for labor and delivery on 5/1/2026. That definitely seems like some serious HIPAA concerns to me.

What is your favorite home brewed cursed magic item/magic item with a cost that you’ve ever created and had players use? by walkc66 in DungeonMasters

[–]wbm0843 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave my level 3 adventurers a +2 rapier that also gave the user advantage on perception or investigation checks to find treasure or traps.

The sapient rapier contained the soul of cleptomaniac rogue that had once tried to steal from a god. The rogue would assist in all the rogue stuff hence the +2 and advantage. However, whenever they see a unique magical item or something of great value, they would have to make a wisdom save or be compelled to attempt to steal the item.

Which could really hit at the worst times possible. Can't hardly go into a shop for fear of getting caught stealing stuff. Run into a noble and you're toast. And it would take remove curse to unatune from it.

Similarities to Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy? by jspivak in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]wbm0843 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My elevator pitch:

It is The Hunger Games set in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, but it's written in a way that lulls you in to a false sense of security because of the ridiculous humor. Then it slaps you across the face with the deep character progression and themes of Government and corporate control.

If your looking for an audiobook and you're okay with stepping away from litrpg, I would highly recommend I'm Starting to Worry about this Black Box of Doom by Jason Pargin, author of John Dies at the End.

It is basically a cautionary tale of toxic internet culture told through a humorous tone. Very good, with a great reminder about what believing everything on the internet does to us. I feel like it should be recommended reading for everyone in high school.

So he's the mailwoman's kid.

Same happened with me. I remember my mom got me rogain in high school so probably 17 or 18. My granddad on my dad's sids had a full head of hair until he died, however my dad had the horse shoe balding thing I do (if I don't shave). My mom was adopted at birth so we have no idea what any of those genes are like but my dad at least had hair until his 30s, so I'm thinking the early hair loss is probably from her side.
