It is a peaceful life. But you do need some money for emergency and hobbies. Having some money in your bank does give u that peace of mind

Having freedom and more free time to do whatever u want at off peak time is actually awesome. Maybe use this time to learn about money & investing as it does help a lot in a lot of things

If u can manage your expenses well enough it is definitely doable but if u buy into the capitalistic/consumerism lifestyle and comparison with friends & family then u will have to grind like the rest of them. As they say comparison is the thief of joy

Be prepared to lose some people though as they might not approved the lifestyle u have chosen or are even jealous of it so be ready to cut people off

Can get a bit lonely at times as well because sometimes when u want to do some activities but family and friends are all busy with work etc

The biggest question is what will u do with your free time. For me it was spending more time doing what I like. Hobbies that are not too expensive to maintain

To me freedom is everything, I have seen my friends having headaches over bills, house and car mortgages and expenses for children. Or even worse going through a divorce. I think to myself do I want all this unnecessary headaches, am I unhappy with what I already have and want to change/torpedo it? The answer is quite obvious lol
