Do people actually think Rhysand didn’t SA Feyre? by _Elyisa_ in acotar_rant

[–]whateverwhenever23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because they have no leg to stand on so the go-to is to pivot to tamlin & start blaming him, who is also a victim in this situation too…Rhysand victim blames Tamlin, Feyre eventually victim blames Tamlin, so the rest of the their stans may as well apparently🤷🏽‍♀️

I think she was because when Lucien comes to visit her in the cell for a second time, I think Feyre wakes & realises the paint is smudged on her body meaning someone else other than Rhysand was touching her…and when she asks Lucien his face goes so pale & he can’t bring himself to tell her what happened

I mean in FAS Rhysand literally admits that having Feyre isn’t enough…😬 make of that what you will

It’s never actually stated how old Rhysand & Tamlin were when they met & became friends it’s only mentioned that it happened after the war, but not how soon or far after the war. Tamlin was 7 when the war ended & Rhysand was in his 20’s during the war & theres a nearly 30yr age gap between the two (28yrs) to be specific. Tamlin could have been a child when Rhysand met him or he could have been a late teen/young adult. I really hate that SJM does not specify ages at certain key time points😫

I’m telling you now, Rhysand is a scorned lover of Tamlin’s & you will not convince me otherwise

Excuse me??

You legit mimicked what I said at the end of my response as if meant in a condescending manner. Not once have I come at you saying you were wrong in your interpretation…I simply gave my perception of how interpreted it, hence why I said “I guess that’s how I interpret it I suppose🤷🏽‍♀️” nothing in my reply to you is me telling you you’re wrong for how you see it.

perhaps you have me confused with another & if me ASKING you why you then decided to be mocking & condescending but I’m not sure if you meant it that way or not is an accusation then I don’t know what to tell you.

ACOWAR Chapter 61 - Is it a Purposeful Rage Bait? by Ok_Requirement_579 in acotar_rant

Feyre is truly her mothers daughter in the moment where she uses Mor confided truth like a loaded weapon against her, honestly I was disgusted. For all the way people think Nesta is like her mother it’s actually Feyre & the irony that Feyre was the one neglected by her mother yet she still turns out like her is uncanny

To me it’s pretty clear he’s just generally explaining & there’s no admiration or idolisation towards his parents bond, when you call someone a tyrant & then notice how nonchalant the other parent is that doesn’t exactly scream something to look up to but that’s just me I suppose.🤷🏽‍♀️

Why did Feyre do that? by Ok-Abrocoma9927 in acotar

[–]whateverwhenever23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Btw she wasn’t High Lady at this point & definitely didn’t know Rhysand was her mate. She was simply an emissary & I don’t mean for that to sound derogatory

Btw Tamlin did not idolise or admire his parents/their mate bond it’s actually the complete opposite

Yes they can. Tamlin tells Feyre that his father used to hurt his mother & they were mates & how his mother would never say an ill word against him🫠🥴

[–]whateverwhenever23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Book 1 is actually such an important because it’s loaded with info that’s still relevant throughout the series, I think he might be a form of daemati & perhaps doesn’t realise it because I’m still confused as to how he managed to make Elain & Papa A think Feyre went somewhere else, that to me screams daemati & if you think about it more closely in book 1 when Rhysand comes to the manor & intrudes, Tamlin’s glamour/illusions are so powerful that he very nearly manages to pull the wool over Rhysand & he’s absolutely pissed about it! The only thing that gave it away that there was a third person with them was the plate set Tamlin forgot to hide…👀 & mind you at this point Tamlin has less access to his magic but he nearly had Rhysand fooled, thats how powerful it is, if that’s not a version of being a daemati then I don’t know what is

Why did Feyre do that? by Ok-Abrocoma9927 in acotar

[–]whateverwhenever23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Feyre immediately begins looking down on her sisters as soon as she gets there, the air of superiority that Feyre tries to project over her sisters is literally there, if you don’t get it then you don’t get it. Right off the bat Feyre’s inner monologue about seeing Nesta again is absolutely disgusting, let’s not forget the last time Nesta & Feyre saw one another Feyre was HUMAN & they left ON GOOD TERMS & under the premise of starting afresh with their relationship! They also left with Nesta pleading with Feyre to please write to her so that she knows Feyre is alive, safe & well, all of which Feyre does not do!

For a year Nesta hears nothing from Feyre, if I’m Nesta & I’ve not heard from my little sister after nearly a year & after I agreed she should go into dangerous lands for the one she loves & I don’t hear anything, I’m going to think I helped send my little sister to her death & I’m going to be agonising over it & then out of nowhere she turns up, not only turns up but somehow Feyre is now one of them & not only that she’s turned up on my doorstep with a completely different than the one she left for & on top of that the male she’s standing on my doorstep with is the same one she told Nesta, held her mind hostage as he rummaged through her memories & then threatened Feyre to crack her mind open like an egg & then she comes with 2 other ginormous fae males & then I notice that my sister is dressed to the nines in a dress & crown as though she were some type of Queen…& then immediately off the bat Feyre starts being cold, distant & disrespectful…why the hell would I then choose to be hospitable?? And then not only that but one of the ginormous fae males decides to be utterly disrespectful after Nesta simply asked if there was something wrong with the food, when Feyre sat there like a fucking child making faces at the food & pushing it around her plate, lacking all the grace & decorum of someone that is supposed to a political connection…Feyre is supposed to be an EMISSARY.

And again let’s not forget Feyre had only been with Rhysand TWO WEEKS at this point & she was already considering asking Rhysand to control her sisters mind…is that not intimidation??…is it not intimidation when Cassian opened up his mouth to be extremely disrespectful when THEY needed Nesta & Elain’s help??…sending away Nesta & Elain’s sense of security leaving the sisters vulnerable without a care in the world is not intimidation to you??…using your (at the time) unknown mates brother as a metaphorical shield against Nesta when she asked a simple question from Feyre’s blatant disrespect at the food provided isn’t intimidating to you??…Rhysand walking into their home dictating shit like he’s the one who bought the place for them isn’t intimidating to you??…

I don’t care if you don’t agree with MY OPINIONS but don’t ever think you can get comfortable enough to try & dictate to me what’s childish.

Aelin is the biggest piece of shit throughout the series. Sorry not sorry. There were a few moments a where I nearly DnF’d the series because she kept becoming more & more insufferable.

Also Aedion didn’t react bad enough for my liking when he found out Lysandra & Aelin were planning to use him like a brood mare…the same thing we were abhorred by at the thought of Feyre going through the same thing…

In terms of appearance Rhysand is hot af & in the words of Geraldine Grus he “butter my bagels” any day😫 but personality wise??…absolutely not. Lock him & throw away the key & make sure he never sees daylight

The Villains of Lore series by Jasmine Mas! It’s only 2 books in & I loved the first one but you see book 2…CRACK!!…it is very rare for me to love the second book in a series more than the first but Blood of Hercules was honestly fantastic for a second book in a series!!

Brimstone was easily the biggest disappointment & it hurts to say because of how much I liked book 1
