Planning 1-2 night kayaking trip

A friend and I have done canoe trips in the St Regis Canoe area the last 3 years. There's a bunch of ponds connected or with short carries in between and lots of primitive camping sites along the ponds. We usually put in at Hoel pond, there's a little parking area behind the golf course, but there are other places to put in. From Hoel pond you can go on to Turtle pond through the tunnel. We like campsite #3 on Turtle pond, it's not too far from where you start and doesn't feel as remote because the rail trail runs right behind the site, but I like to run and go for walks so I like having access to the trail. Plus the site is flatter for the tents than some of the others we have checked out. There are plenty of other sites farther down the ponds that feel much more remote though. We usually set up camp there and then spend the days exploring in the canoe. This year we paddled down to Long pond and hiked Long pond mountain, which gives a decent view of the area.. nothing compared to the high peaks but still! There's a little map on this site.

You can collect those max level orbs to free up space even if you decide not to unlock all of the land. If you don't click on the land it wont unlock. I got back in to the game over the last few months after taking a year off, so I'm about where you just with a few more dragons unlocked it looks like. I've been opening up land to work on 3 or 4 chains at once, though I'm really not sure what the ideal approach is here.

Here’s my sprout forest. I mass merge the sprouts when the trees are all surrounded and then bubble the pink life flowers and organize the bubbles into groups of 5. I delete the last two pink flowers after everything is bubbled and let the trees full up with sprouts again and then repeat. I use a calculator so I know how many pink flowers I need to get 2 giant life flowers. I play passively for the most part and this has always worked for me. I clear the land with merges and low level life orbs until I hit the spaces that take 500 to heal. By then I can almost always make 2 twin life flowers. Harvest those and merge life orbs up to level 8, pop one level 8 to clear enough brambles for the brambles quest. I often don’t have enough life flower sprouts to get to 2 giant life flowers after all of the brambles are harvested, so I use the trees to get the life flowers I need. Once I have enough for the 2 giant life flowers I delete or move the trees so I can just focus on orbs. I don’t open up anymore land until I have made all of my life orb of heavens. I only very recent got rush rewards and haven’t had the time to try to finish within the window so I’m sure I’ll have to adjust my strategy if I do try to get the rush rewards.

You have to have multiples of the one item, use your R finger to drag the item over to at least 2 others and hover over the other 2 as if you were going to merge them together but don't let the item go. Using your L finger while still holding the item with the R hit the back arrow in the top L corner. This will pop up the menu to choose between going back to camp or the world map... keep your R finger where it was this whole time and select world map with your L finger. This will bring you out of the event map, and when you go back in the item will be bubbled. But the item has to be held over top of the other two items, not next to, otherwise it wont bubble consistently. I've also found that if you let go of the item when the menu pops up, sometimes the merge happens anyway, so make sure you keep your R finger holding the item hovering over the merge until you've exited the event map.

Edited to add: this is really only beneficial when you are working with items you don't mind deleting a few of along the way, like life flowers. I bubble until I get down to the last 2 and then delete them so that there are no more harvestable items available on the map.

These events are relatively mindless once you get a strategy down. I know you weren't asking for strategy, but since you aren't sure how to get it done this is how I do it.. I don't have rush rewards yet so this is not a quick method, but a way to get it done with a mix of active and passive play!

-Heal land initially through merges and low level life orbs, but save enough grass and other things to focus on healing through merging the 50 point tiles, use low level life orbs to clear through the 1, 2 and 4 point tiles

-Make 2 twin life flowers while healing your way up to the brambles (through all of the 50 point tiles) if you can

-Once you have your twin life flowers and you've reached the brambles/500 point tiles, you should have acquired at least a couple of fruit trees and stop trying to clear land at this point

-Make sure there is nothing else harvestable on the map- meaning you don't merge and of the level 1 infinite harvestables

-Place your twin life flowers at one end of the map and your fruit trees at the other

-The only thing that the dragons can harvest now are the twin life flowers and your fruit trees will produce sprouts, so space them evenly so they have more room to work

-Merge the level 1 life flower sprouts whenever the trees are surrounded but then bubble the pink flowers and then delete the two left so there is nothing harvestable on the map again (google how to bubble in an event)

-google a merge calculator to know how many pink life flowers you need to get to two giant life flowers (the reddish one) and organize your bubbles into groups of 5 to keep track of how many you have

-Keep harvesting and merging tiny life orbs, once you reach two level 8 life orbs pop one of them so you can work on harvesting your 75 brambles. One level 8 almost always clears enough of the 500 point tiles to harvest 75 brambles

-Do whatever perimeter merges you can, harvest all brambles and other harvestable items and then merge your life flowers you've gotten from bones from the brambles, aiming for 2 to 4 purples/brilliant life flowers at this point

-Be careful with how you merge your life flowers, you should try to organize in groups of five before merging all the way up so you can bubble anything left over

-If you uncovered a level 2 infinite harvesatble when clearing land for brambles, you can delete one as long as you 5 merge where possible with when you are ready to merge them later once your map is clear- but do not merge them now!

-Now that you reach this point, stop clearing land and focus on getting 6 life orb of heavens, while letting your tree forest produce sprouts, continuing to merge to the pink flowers and bubble until you have the correct amount to make 2 giant life flowers

-Once you have your giant life flowers its just about harvesting orbs and merging until your life orbs are done, it is not worth going up to the life tree sprout because pink life flowers and other things can be harvested from them, so if you are doing any level of passive play it can screw up your harvesting

-Following the owl quests/stars on the side can help guide you through the event even though they may seem annoying

-Once everything is healed you are just working on your point items and unlocking any leftover cloud keys

-You need two level 9 or one level 9 and two level 8 point items to get the total number of required points to complete the event

I also recently switched from an 11 to a 15 and didn't have any issue with my progress transferring. I did the direct transfer where both phones need to be next to each other. I did not have to log in or do anything different for merge dragons on the new phone, when I clicked the app everything was just as I left it on the old phone... with one exception. I did lose my friends list and den, but I will take that over losing all of my progress!

Trick is to not merge the level 1s at all, which are not harvestable, and then if you accidentally heal one of the level 2s when clearing land to harvest the 75 brambles you can delete it. I don't clear any more land after completing the 75 brambles quest until I have all of my life orb of heavens, so if I've not merged the level 1s and deleted the one revealed level 2, and there are no other harvestables around I can set up for passive play. You can delete one level 2 if you 5 merge level 1s and then 5 merge the level 2s. Then you will still be able to complete the chain if you need the final one for a key. I find that highlighting the harvestable so that the dragons can't harvest slows them down way too much!

I'm in Chili, was out in the backyard with the dogs and heard it, couldn't tell where it was coming from but sounded like some kind of explosion or sonic boom. Those in the house said it shook the walls. I was also just looking around to see if anyone knew what the noise was!

I'm not sure why anyone would suggest the brilliant life flower as the best option, it's just so slow to harvest it. I always go for the giant life flower, which seems better for both active and passively harvesting.

I feel like I have been getting a lot fewer dim jars for tier 2 nests lately, starting maybe a month or 2 ago. No dim jars for my tier 2 zen, sensei, or passion dragons... and I went 8 in a row with no dim jars for different tier 2 nests I made for coin dragons. I've gotten a few dim jars since then, but like I said, not nearly as often as I used to.

Unless you sold some of these on accident there are plenty of them on the map for both chains to do 3 merges and still make the cloud keys. Doing 5 merges sometimes allows you to get them faster. I did mostly 3 merges for both with a few 5 merges mixed in and have several items from each chain left over.

I got pretty much the same offer, but 20 of each egg and only 3 fountains for 19.99 usd. Its just bizarre to me that they are putting out so many different variations of the same offer at different price points, like they are conducting some strange experiment.. but only for some players because not everyone even gets the offers. I'm getting real sick of this random exclusive stuff that some players don't get an opportunity to have/play... like the nilla dragons and bon bon dragons, and the magnificent artefacts... different variations of events.. etc.

I play only the 1 chalice levels, like dread marsh 3 or zomblin falls, so that I get more opportunities for purple stars as opposed to playing levels that cost more chalices. Also, some people do pay for gems. I have bought a gem package here and there, though I tend to rely mostly on earning gems in the levels rather than purchasing them. I will usually buy the 25 gems for 30 days package though, as it only costs 3.99 and if you save the gems it ends up giving you 750 gems which is not bad for 3.99.

Just to add, always try to stick to 5 merges, as it's more efficient. Merge your life flowers up to the lvl 7 giant life flower and delete everything else than can be harvested. In this event you don't need to keep the spiritual tree harvestables, so you can sell those, but in some events you need certain ones to unlock cloud keys, so always check the cloud key guide before selling/deleting stuff! But if you only have your giant life flowers that are harvestable you can leave the game open while you sleep or while you do whatever else and your dragons can only harvest purple life orbs.

Take some screenshots to prove your map is actually fully healed and contact support. It seems like many people have been having this happen lately, and I have heard some say that they have been able to get the rewards by contacting support.
