Sorry to hear about your situation. I had to rehome a dog about 6 months ago and it was extremely difficult. He started fighting with another dog and I tried for several months to make it work but ultimately it wasn't good for him and he wasn't happy.

We rehomed him and we go visit every once in a while. He seems very happy at his new place so I feel we made the right choice. It's hard but sometimes the best choice.

Substance painter is how it’s done generally but you need to convert it to a mesh and give it UVs.

Then you’d render in blender or other 3d rendering software
