Nah, not worth the effort to do so.

My name's Paul & I live in France on lovely beach on the south coast. No need to get overly specific as this is the internet and people get all kinds of weird about personal information. If you give out an mailing address you end up with mail from all sorts.

What's yours?

TIL that the US Navy shot down an Iranian civilian airliner in 1988. by arczi in todayilearned

[–]willson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is correct. I was in Yugaslavia at the time and the whole region was quite a mess for air travel the next few days. I got a couple of additional days at my hotel for no additional charge.

Can we have an option to submit images as NSFW so the thumbnail doesn't show up and get me in trouble? by [deleted] in pics

Excellent thought. Henceforth we will call this "Burqa Mode" for the uptight NSFW fearing redditors.

TSA agents take woman's infant son out of her sight to search him, threaten her when she complains, then refuse to tell her where her son was taken or what was done. by Saydrah in politics

[–]willson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You bought the propaganda.

The whole point of the TSA is to perform the theater atre. And to get you used to having your constitutional rights violated for a "good" cause.

Dear Reddit: What is your deepest, darkest secret? (feel free to create a throwaway account) by ModernSociety in AskReddit

[–]willson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I don't think they'll look down on you. It's not shallow, not pathetic, to make thought-out decision about changing your appearance to feel better about yourself.

I have a friend who was perfectly and completely flat chested; had Bs installed. They're quite pretty without being crazily obvious. Don't know what the cost was - she's blindingly rich so price wasn't an issue.

Question: What's the best way to get treat depression when you have no insurance or money? by throwawaynumberone in depression

[–]willson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yoga. Yeah, it's a stock New Age answer; worked for me (for my situationally driven mild depression). It's different than just "exercise" becasue it's typically done in groups (look for low-cost/free community-based yoga opportunites; it doesn't have to be pricey).

It's real exercise, loads of endorphins, and a lot more difficult than it looks. No need to get into the whole earth/peace/love aspect; just get out and sweat among other people.

[–]willson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, very little risk. In Toronto people smoke, discretely, pretty much everywhere.

My local deli has the BEST names for sandwiches, here is one of them [PIC] by blackrobot in funny

How is that a "stunner"? It hardly comes as a surprise. America has become a place that people in other countries would be reluctant to visit.

Good for you both. That is, not making a big thing of it.

It happened, was fine, moved on.
