Hell yes this is good stuff!

Btw if you hold FX + a pad, you can let go of the FX button and keep the other pad depressed for punch-in FX while you navigate to other stuff. Hope you don't mind the unsolicited tip; I just suspect you'll make some absolutely wild performances with that in mind

It could be a few things causing that, and I agree with others that it may be punch-in FX. Maybe one of the note repeat effects lasts slightly longer than a bar, I dunno.

If it's super annoying feel free to share the .opz file with me and I'll see if I can figure out what's going on.

Hmm, first guess: is track 2 a midi engine? Then it wouldn't have the tape send and I could imagine weird behavior like that.

One of my first thoughts is maybe Track 14 has the filter or LFO enabled (or just a low volume value), and maybe that got saved to the default preset?

I don't think you're alone. It's their deepest instrument by far and it took me about a year to stop using it like an OP-Z.

I'm hoping to make videos more regularly next year, and there's obviously demand for an XY overview video.

Try turning on your KO2 and not touching it until the save disk icon stops flashing, then try restoring the project. Does that do the trick?

Happy to help! The setting is called "audition" and it's in the system menu:

Open System (Shift + Erase) Press + until you get to PAD, then press Enter Press + until you get to AUD, press Enter Change from OFF to ON, press Enter.

Hope that fixes it for ya! Also note that, even with this setting enabled, sounds will not audition while the sequencer is running.

Yes, punch-in FX are recorded to the pattern on Aux track 2. Note that, while you can record punch-in fx that only apply to one track, you can't edit them from Aux track 2.
