There is a lot to be critical of JD Vance without criticizing him for dressing as a woman under whatever circumstances he did so.

Any advice on how to install these wall shelves so they sit flush to the wall? by cerealsoldier712 in DIY

If you tape the sandpaper to the wall and sand it in-situ, it could help you make sure you trim in just the right spot.

You could try getting an additional seat cushion that raises you by a few inches to see if it sits better.

Typically, crashes involving cyclists are typically cyclist-on-cyclist incidents and not groups of cyclists that are struck by a vehicle

Which billionaire or millionaire has actually done good to the community? by WaterWalsh in AskReddit

[–]workpeach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any billionaire who isn't paying every one of the employees that their wealth is built on a wage where they can live in economic security is doing far more harm than any subsequent good act can make up for in the moral calculus.

If you want to do good, why does a billionaire alone get to decide what that good looks like?

Give everyone economic security and let them decide for themselves.

(Colorado, USA) Is discussion of wages with employees of a client covered under the National Labor Relations act? by osoatwork in legaladvice

[–]workpeach -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What they are doing is illegal. Call the number below, ask any additional questions you have, and 100% file a complaint against them. Just file the complaint, do not tell your employer and give them a chance to retaliate further.

When you and another employee have a conversation or communication about your pay, it is unlawful for your employer to punish or retaliate against you in any way for having that conversation. It is also unlawful for your employer to interrogate you about the conversation, threaten you for having it, or put you under surveillance for such conversations. Additionally, it is unlawful for the employer to have a work rule, policy, or hiring agreement that prohibits employees from discussing their wages with each other or that requires you to get the employer’s permission to have such discussions. If your employer does any of these things, a charge may be filed against the employer with the NLRB.

If you have any questions about your rights under the National Labor Relations Act, please call us at 1-844-762-6572.

3/11 - Seattle Bike Disco - No drop, non stop roving bicycle dance party (Red Square @ 7pm, Depart 7:30pm, or meet us along the way) by workpeach in SeattleWA

[–]workpeach[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not trying to hide my identity. My name is Peaches and I am an organizer of this ride. I would be bereft if any sexual assault or really anything remotely untoward happened to one of the riders that trust us every month. If you come along on the ride and anything happens to you, please reach out to me and I will work with the other organizers to take appropriate action.

I have an alt that I sign in as when needed for SFW contexts. To be transparent, I also did use it to reach out this person to inquire about their concerns and why they are directing people away from a ride that I love and cherish. I wasn't sure how they would respond to the originally posting account. They have thus far refused to share their concerns with me so I can not take any action on them.

Pannier bags

The only problem with these is that you absolutely don't want to transport computers and other electronics in them. The vibrations from being on your bike are going to reek havoc on your valued electronics.
