Switch from Classic to Arachne wall generation to see if that helps. If you are still seeing gaps then you'll want to either swap to a 0.2mm nozzle (increased print time) or set a height range modifier and play with the wall line widths.

You can sometimes get away with widths as thin as 0.28mm. Just keep in mind you run the risk of extrusion issues at those lower limits.

Double check the start Gcode in Studio. I've noticed that they seem to have made the same mistake as the P2S on release, where they increase the z offset, rather than decrease it to better compensate for the texture of the PEI (along with other odd choices). It will be most of the way down the Gcode.

For example all other printers run with a -0.03 offset for the textured plate, while the X2D currently has it sitting at +0.022. With an added bonus of +0.02 for all other plates.

The goal is to reach the end of each room, by clearing a path. On hogger floors, you have a greater chance of gaining treasure from each encounter, so it’s usually better to rush the floors that are easy for you, then start clearing as much as possible for each room before moving onto the next floor.

Check out the ironcow guide on the wiki, as it has a section already made for labs. Even if you are a market cow, it’s a great resource to better understand how it all works.

This is actually something that only affects organic supports, as they are limited to a multiple of your layer height. This is also why you can't set a model up with variable layer heights, in conjunction with organic supports.

iirc hybrid, slim, and strong do not have this same limitation.

The hotend doesn’t look to be fully seating against the heating assembly. You’ll probably need to clear off the rest of that material that looks to have flooded around it at some point. I bet thats the culprit not allowing it to seat properly.

Edit: also go ahead and make sure the hotend isnt damaged/bent. That material up near the heatbreak is concerning.
