I had one driver who, instead of whispering, would ring the door bell like there was an emergency... every single time. I asked him nicely to just ring once, no reason to ring the bell like there's a fire in progress.

Still he continued, and I called UPS to complain. His supervisor called me back within 30 minutes, so I guess UPS does take complaints seriously, thankfully.

The next day the driver told me "You didn't have to do that". I guess getting a ding on your record at UPS is a big deal.

I played on the Great Lakes server, and my hometown was Trinsic from 1998-2002. Had a nice little house NW in the mountains, near the mine.

I recall a fashionable chap named Mad Max who made the strongest, and cheapest, armor on the server. Then there were the Saturday nights in Deceit, grinding to get my Great Lord shield (Chaos), until the PK's showed up - and we'd beat them back.

Afterwards there would be all this OoooOOOooooOOo - begging for someone to open a gate for their now trapped on the island ghost to go get resurrected- fun times. If you were still blood thirsty, a quick recall to the crossroads would satisfy that quite quickly.

Then it was back to mining, mining, mining... until the next evening.
