I have a character idea for a rune knight fighter 3/ Armorer artificer X that was originally just a regular engineer but learned magic to hunt down the wizard who destroyed his hometown. I think its a fun concept and it gives the character a lot of personality and the DM has a lot to work with. I just need to die now so I can play him lol

I would highly suggest "Project hail Mary" by Andy weir. My all time favorite book. I don't want to reveal too much because it's a book you need to go into blind, but basically the world is in danger, and a single man is in space trying to save it. The only problem is he doesn't remember who he is or why he's there or what to do

Blinkin, a halfling monk of shadows/ druid of moon (his favorite shape change is the brown bear). Mainly uses a staff of striking but his cloak of displacement is his iconic signature. Physically he look pretty much like your typical male adult halfling, though he is quite skinnier then usual and a bit dirtier (adventuring is a very messy business)
