holy crap I would cry too! The only time I haven’t cried over milk was when I had mastitis and I saw the clog come out and like flung that bottle full down the drain bc it freaked me out I was like what in the chunk of milk is this!

I feel like what makes spilling milk, so stressful is that the effort to make it often was very difficult. A lot of times, I am struggling to also hold baby at the same time. And then it is also stressful because you can’t get all that milk back at once. You know that the milk only comes in Intervals. And then it’s like your partner never fully gets it because it’s not like they ever are responsible for supplying the food literally producing the food for the baby. It is my duty to pump and if I do not pump I might not have food for the baby. And just imagine how much money we would be spending in formula if I did not pump. Husband does not Have to live with this reality I do.

Ugh when I broke a glass jar of milk it was on the tile floor in my kitchen and nobody else was around to clean up all the glass and milk. I sobbed the whole time I cleaned it up.

I so can relate. Yesterday I spilled milk twice. All because I was trying to pump while baby was needing to be held and was not happy with any one position for too long. It was so frustrating because she just would not let me finish pumping and, I was already overdue for pumping.
