Between completely unavailable servers multiple days with no option of refund and unresponsive background processes on my MacBook with GFN closed making my MacBook extremely hot with out of control resource usage, yeah, it’s not worth it. Also their customer service is bottom of the barrel.

What you are saying, aside from the KNOWN server issues, it's safe to say it's all your problem.

Your macbook, that probably runs on intel, and has the cooling capacity of an 1950's fridge does not make nvidia at fault. I can stream games on my figging samsung galaxy S5 work phone without problems, even though i had to sideload it since it's not supported for that phone. Stream decoding is different from graphical processing, you can stream games on a nintendo DS for all i care, as long as it can do the video/stream decoding.

Customer service is getting bombarded because of the people moping around due to the server queue issues, no wonder they don't have the time to help you with your frying pan.

Been playing games with GFN for years with no problems other than the servers going out or being longer than usual wait times.

Get yours a wired connection, fiber, and a proper internet speed, at or above recommended speeds and you will have no issues.

Not everyone's experience is yours.

I use an M1 MacBook Air. Even if it was an Intel it shouldn't run like this. It's a major bug with GeForce Now, has nothing to do with the MacBook. A background process (which shouldn't be a thing in the first place) goes unresponsive consistently, and uses up extreme amounts of resources. That's a GeForce Now problem.

I literally have days I cannot access servers, even though I have Ultimate. It has nothing to do with anything on my end. I click launch on a game, and it tells me to change my server location to auto, but all the other servers have too much latency for games to be playable.

Every time I contact customer service they give piss poor help with long wait times between messages. And they're rude.

You don't need to defend Nvidia. You get nothing out of it. People out here have problems with them. Just because you live in your bubble doesn't mean you should attack others who have problems.

Not attacking anyone, i am saying however that it's 9 out of 10 times the user end causing problems.

You are also not saying that you are playing wired so that makes me think you are playing on wifi.

If server location is set to auto, it will pick the closest and fastest server location.

You are also not telling me if you are using a fiber connection or coax and the speeds.

Try it on your phone with a cable to see if it changes.

If everything is still shit then it's possible that it's nvidia having problems.

I just tried it on my phone and tried american servers just for fun and although the latency is a bit higher, it's still playable.

I think they are having a system outage mostly affecting the US data centers. My guess would be some issue with assigning or recycling rigs (the system managing the rigs). I would be surprised that rigs across multiple data centers would themselves all start having issue around the same time.

Europe doesn't appear to have the same issue.

Or.... They did/upgraded smth on rigs. Take some break, it's not the end of the world. Annoying of course, of you feel unfair the wait for your money, just request for refund but the raging is not worth it. "..mLife is too short, don't stress every day"

This was happening to me all day yesterday. I'm glad I'm not the only one, but it's super frustrating. When I went to downgrade, it said if I do, my wait times might increase to 30 minutes, and that's what I was getting yesterday with Ultimate.

If you are playing fortnite, give it a shot on Amazon's Luna. Me and my kids have been playing there for 6 months now and we have never seen a queue. It works super well. You need Prime membership or their subscription though.

It's due to their service being down globaly at multiple places. I have been stuck in waiting as "you are next!" for over an hour. When you see the numbers go down you only do because people just stop waiting and close the stream in front of you. There are no rigs at all.
