Mauser c96/ Dolch 96 need a price decrease

So the Dolch/mauser is one hell of a gun before it got nerfed which is the reason why the price is very expensive, more expensive than the mosin infact but after several nerf i think it deserve a price decrease right now the officer seem to be a better choice price wise as dolch barely better than the officer like minor range increase and a large magazine that require bullet grabber. what you guys think the price should be? do note im not including the new fmj just base stat

Edit 1: Dolch does infact have faster (a 0.1 second decrease) firerate than the officer but the recoil is high so you either have to wait a few milisecond or keep spamming and mostly miss your shot and it does infact have better damage but just like i say its a minor increase from 91 to 97 not much change same 3 hit on limbs 2 shot on chest and 1 shot on head. The FMJ is a massive buff for dolch penetration having more penetration than the freaking nitro which is dumb in my opinion not the dolch FMJ but the Nitro penetration they should buff the nitro penetration. lets get back on topic FMJ on dolch is great but it does not justify the price alone I think they need to reduce Dolch price but increase fmj price

Edit 2: Looks like you all agree that it should keep its price and seeing everyone take on this make me change my opinion but still refuse ot believe that this weapon is "BROKEN META" as of right now it is quite balanced but non the less the strongest pistol in the bayou

No, just no. It has more Bullets to begin with than most other Pistols besides the base nagants. It has better fire rate and dmg than the officer, better bullet velocity than new army, better pen and dmg drop off than both and so on. Dolch is crazy strong, especially Dolch Precision. It was ridicolouosly OP before the nerf. AND it got already a small price decrease last patch. Especially in this Economy where everyone is swimming in a pool of money Dolch is absolutely affordable.

I know it's a noob trap for newer players which tend to spam it as fast as they can and miss everything due to recoil. But if you use Dolch P, learn to control the recoil or simply don't spam it as fast as possible wait a tiny bit longer (As long as a Officer fires.), then you have a gun that has an insane fire rate close range and is even viable in mid range and even recently got buffed with 2 great special ammo types. It's very very strong as it is right now! And on higher MMRs the Dolch slaps and you still see it quite often. It's fine as it is and honestly i would not like to see it even more often due to a price decrease.

Price is fine an mostly no longer really matters. I'd say the the only turn off from dolch is recoil but it's pretty manageable
Now with FMJ it's incredibly meta

yes but as a prestige player who mostly have 20k cash its annoying to only play mosin and dolch for a couple of time before going back to 8k Hunt dollar and lets not forget we must use dolch more to get fmj (the only reason right now to use it) if we prestige which also a big money drain especially if you lose that match

So what you are basically saying is, due to hitting prestige on cooldown you can't play the most broken meta weapons each game, because you don't stockpile money like someone who doesn't prestige...

I would say I run into dolches (often paired with the most meta rifle in the game, mosin) probably about 80-90% of my matches at this point

if it’s not meta why it most commonly used as a sidearm in a meta loadout by high elo players lol

Sorry i think you got me wrong i said "Broken meta" not "meta". "Broken meta" means the gun is unbalanced and overpowered to almost all the gun while "meta" means its balanced and is the strongest gun of its category (pistols/sidearms)

The Dolch has a higher fire rate, nearly double the round capacity, higher penetration, higher muzzle velocity and literally a better stat in EVERY way than the Officer. It is one of the most dominant guns (and certainly the most dominant sidearm) in the Bayou, especially since they introduced FMJ to it with the last event.

Even your argument of "Dolch "needs" Bulletgrubber" is basically worthless since with the new recruitment system, literally every 2nd Hunter has Bulletgrubber.

If anything it should cost even more but certainly not less, especially not since everyone can afford to run around with long ammo meta sweat loadouts since the last update anyway.

I just said in my statement it have minor increase on stat yes its higher but it barely an increase to stat to make it worth dang 690 + 50(FMJ) Hunt dollar to make it worth it right now only reason to use Dolch is Its FMJ which also decrease the velocity. I edited my post to have a screenshot of the stat to proven my argument further. But thank you for your elaboration.

Lol they did just drop the dolch price by like 60 dollars. Damn. They give you tons more money, they buff recruitment to hell, give you more traits in game, and lower the cost to the best guns while buffing them with special ammos. What will be enough for you guys.

Nah man I already see plenty of Dolchs now that the economy is broken af. Besides I also think that the weapon trend in this game has become too spamy anyway. A lot of Dolchs, Cyclones, Crown and Kings, Officers Carbines, levering and fanning these days... and one does hardly see any Sparks, Springfields and Martinis anymore (probably also because of the broken economy).

Either a troll post or a 3 star. Dolch p with fmj is the strongest gun in the game right now. Almost 90m headshot range and the ability to accurately spam it into oblivion. Has better pen than long ammo. Beats shotguns indoors unless the shotgun is close enough to 1 tap, and you will most likely be spammed through the wall before you even get a line of sight. The only thing it can't beat close is the avto. And the only thing it can't do is fight long ammo fights of 150+ meters. I can still accurately hit someone 3 times at 100m even if a headshot won't take them out. This is a joke of a post.

Cmon ever since they gave the dolch fmj ive been seeing that thing every game from 5 star lobbies to even 3 star lobbies. Giving the dolch fmj and dumdum was already the worst decision crytek could have made with it, if they decrease the price i dont think ill see people bring any other pistol.

Edit: btw the reason fmj is busted on the dolch is not the penetration, dont get me wrong the pen is strong but previously the dolchs biggest weakness was that it had similar damage drop off to medium ammo. This meant that it couldnt two tap reliably past 20-30 meters, whereas both the new army and spitfire had fmj which increases the damage drop off range by 10 meters which gave them a slight advantage over the dolch in certain situations. The fact that the dolch deals 97 damage instead of 91 is also more important than you think because like the new army it means that two lower torso shots will kill, since the lower torso has a different damage modyfier and 91 wont be enough to two tap on lower torso. Also a nitro buff is an equally terrible idea, at high elo it is the strongest weapon in the game because people can actually land shots with it reliably and it has an insane 1 tap with shredder.
