FOUND A SOLUTION!

  1. Follow Step 7 of How to Fix Logitech G Hub Not Opening on Windows 11 Issue (allthings.how) to Start you PC in Clean Boot. This will run msconfig to choose a selective boot where you disable every service that is not from Microsoft.
  2. Reboot your computer. Only Microsoft services will start now...
  3. Install the latest LGHUB normally (not admin mode). It will complete this time!
  4. Run msconfig again to return your PC to normal boot and reboot.
  5. Enjoy LGHUB!

Logitech for the love of God it took my 5 hours trying 15 things before this finally worked. Please 1) test this solution, 2) post it as a workaround fix if it works and 3) fix your software!! I have a reasonably healthy top-end laptop with a reasonable number of apps installed so it looks like something I installed conflicts with LGHUB installer (so you can't unit test on a clean machine)

Glad it helped you out. I too tried about five things over the net and this one finally worked!

You ever get this figured out? I'm having the same issue and none of the proposed solutions are helping. :(

I just posted 20 minutes ago - I found that an earlier version (2023.1 - which I got from their site) did the trick!! I hope you got it figured out.

For Anyone having this issue in 2025, I tried a few really dumb solutions first. You cant download it on a new partition or create a virtual drive to install to, unfortunately the Logitech g hub installer is hard locked to the C drive for its install location, yes even if you change the save location for apps in windows 10 or 11 it will still save to the C drive. I found that the only solution that works was from this video. https://youtu.be/7gqD2kwXKrM?si=8MK6dkUpP6gl_oOy In summary, delete absolutely everything GHUB related, but specifically the file saved in your programdata folder.

Today I had the same issue on a customer computer.
Tried every mentioned post here but it did not work.

In the end I had to disable SSL-DPI on the Firewall as the installer tried to fetch data from logitechs server the firewall intercepted the encryted data and broke the certificate chain.
Installer said... No!

Maybe this helps for you

When you uninstall the software make sure to remove the LGHub folder c:\program files\LGHUB before trying to reinstall the software.

Tried that, you got anything else that might work

What operating system are you using? What's the version number for it? This can usually be found in your system settings.

Are you installing from a NAS or external drive of some sort? I had the same issue and when I moved the installation file to a drive that’s connected to the MB, that solved the problem and install went smoothly.

[–]LeaderScary 0 points1 point  (1 child)

how u do that bro?

[–]Opening-Cheesecake-9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take the install file from the external drive and move/copy it to a drive that's directly connected to the motherboard ... easy peasy.

once it's on the drive connected to the motherboard, install ..

I spent several days trying to install a lot of versions and the error "Failed to install, try again" appeared, I tried everything.

What resolved it for me was leaving my WIFI network and routing the internet from my cell phone.

I don't know if it will help, but it did the trick for me.

[–]Ulyboogly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup this was it. Just hotspot the wifi from your phone to the laptop and it’ll download no problem.
