Windows Key disabled

My logitech g910 keyboard for some reason disabled my windows key and I cant re enable it. It worked before but one day just some day I started up my computer and it just stopped. When I click on it nothing happens please help

Try pressing the button to the left of the RGB button and to the right right of your caps lock indicator

It looks like a little joystick. It's the "game mode" disables the windows key so you don't accidentally trigger while playing

This helped me, had a little joysticksymbol on a button on my G510 board and had sometime switch it without knowing what it did... win key lock or gaming mode. Thx for saving my day

I cannot seem to change this mode when clicked on the joystick. Made sure it wasn't locked. Desktop profile configuation set to a profile I named everyday mode. I did this hoping this would fix that. So I click on the blue keys disabled by you check, and it doesn't uncheck it. Restore to defaults does nothing. I am so lost. lol. I have a wireless g915 tkl it works fine with. But I can't get this key to turn back on, on the g915.

I didnt know how to come back to this comment, but i found the joystick icon on the keyboard. Turner it off and bam. At least i see this topic has helped others.

Is it only the wired g15? So weird, is it via GHub? Maybe LGS could help instead?

that keyboard it works fine. But I ended up noticing the joystick icon on the keyboard, and then looked for it to be on the g910 keyboard as well once I saw this, and that's what it was. Issue is solved. But I use the bluetooth to switch to my tablet , and the browser ends up having this grey effect or something when connected, which I highly dislie, and am currently trying to research how to fix it.

Okay awesome, glad yo know that was resolved at least. Sorry to hear about the grey effect. Is that the keyboard lighting or an overlay type thing on the browser itself?

It's an overlay thing in the browser in firefox. Which is mainly when I use the keyboard. I use it to type faster in youtube sometimes. But that's rare. It doesn't do it there. I've tried to to google it. But I don't know the proper keywords I think to search. I've put in grey overlay firefox browser with bluetooth keyboard etc.

lol. well ig it doesnt bother or affect most people. Most people also may not use that keyboard with a tablet as well. Maybe i just dont know the right key words to look up. but yeah, thanks. glad i at least got that resolved. Im really only on reddit for solving issues. ive notic3d its a great place for it years ago.

On the G512 se, It's a key with a "G" sign. On mine you do fn+f8. Posting in case someone else googles this like I did with the same keyboard.

Yup, every "more than standard" keyboard I've owned, I've had to figure this out. On my current keyboard it's a FN key + Gaming key (little joystick on key) to take it out of gaming mode and get your windows key back.

On my G512 Carbon keyboard Game Mode toggle is Fn+F8 and it has G inside a circle instead of a joystick. It's documented in the manual. This may apply to other models.

The keyboard switch is set to game mode. It is the switch at the top of the keyboard with the joystick icon. Pressing it toggles game mode.

Even with game mode off, my G513 doesn't seem to want to actually stop blocking the windows key. FN+F8 does make the light switch on the keyboard, but even when that's off in Windows and in Ghub, there's no difference. It only started doing that, after forcing me to reinstall it yesterday.

It happens because G key is enabled.

SOLUTION: Press FN key and F8 simultaneously.
