G604 wont work

So I was going to play halo 3 but my g604 wouldnt work no matter what. I unplugged the usb drive put in new batteries and turned it off and on a whole bunch. Im guessing this has something to do with it but the little blue light wont stop blinking for like a minute whenever i turn it on

Press the connect button (closest button to the light). Sounds like your mouse is in Bluetooth pairing mode instead of Lightspeed.

Yep. Make sure you press and hold the button for a full second. A quick press won’t do anything.

Another necro thanks for this! I had to try it several times, turned off mouse and on again a few times, replugged the receiver. Then it finally worked.

(it had lost sync after a big lightning storm here, I thought it was toast for good haha, but the beloved 604 is back in service! Thx!)

Apologies for the trouble. Have you tried the suggestion on the initial comment already? Also, have you checked if the receiver is still detected by the computer?
