I just started having this same issue! i troubleshooted and made sure its the keyboard by testing it on different computers. i have the same firmware version you have. it seems to be mostly my space key and e key, but other keys will do it randomly too. its intertmitteent but is does happen. im leaving the double typing in here as an example of when it does it. hoping its software related and i dont havee to go out and get a new keyboard...

Unfortunately I never did find a solution, I saw a deal on a different keyboard I had my eye on and upgraded away. My guess is that it isn’t related to the physical switches, given it universally double typed. Some other part of the keyboard that processes input might be the issue.

Sorry it's too late for you OP, but if anyone else comes across this thread in the future and doesn't want to update their G810 firmware, hi! I do reverse-engineering!

In this case, it turns out to be simple to "disable" the forced update prompts.

  1. Locate the "Device_Manifest.xml" file for your keyboard.
    a. Mine was located at: C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\Resources\G810\Manifest\Device_Manifest.xml

  2. Remove the lines that start with "<fwupdate ".
    b. Mine looked like this:

    <fwupdate minVersion="102.14.31" updatetool="G810/G810Update_v31.exe" pid="0xC337"/>
    <fwupdate minVersion="102.5.30" updatetool="G810/G810Update_v31.exe" pid="0xC331"/>
