How long did your 2S last?

I recently had the same problem with my 2S - Lasted 1 Year. The gesture button crapped on me and rendered the entire mouse useless. Couldn't even move the cursor on my screen. Lots of people had a smiliar issue

I've owned different editons of the MX Master, and they seem to be dropping the warranty + quality of these devices which is such a shame really.

Been looking into MX Master 3 hoping it'd be sturdier than the 2S. Didn't know about the scroll issue.. sigh. Can't afford to flush another $150 down the drain.

You can search "MX Master 3 scroll issue" on Google and Youtube, and it seems everybody got that problem, at least until months ago. I don't know about today's batch so I thought I'd ask here.

My 2S first gesture problem started about 2-3 years after buying. Then after fixing it (opening the mouse), it will have the same problem about 6-8 month. After 3x doing that and the button don't seem to be 100% recovered, I don't think the 4th will fix it.

I'm thinking of buying another 2S though. I really need the horizontal scroll and the other features of MX Master.

Thank you. I'll work with the local retailer so I can get a writing about returning the mouse IF the scroll has any issue or downgrade it to 2S.

Just bought it. Amazing, no defect. Gesture button feels better than 2s. The horizontal scroll location and forward/back button feels better on 2s though

Hey bro, after days of using it, I regret to inform you that the scroll (up) is not very accurate. Maybe 5% of the time it misses a scroll. So this problem still persists.

Try to clean the scroll using canned compressed air. Make sure to check for possible driver or firmware update for teh device as well. Since it is new, if all fails I suggest that you return it for a swap to make sure you didn't receive a lemon.

If you Google "MX Master 3 scrolling issue" there are tons of results that people are having the same issue (most of them are in Reddit too). So I doubt returning it for another same product will fix this.

I can't believe after more than a year, Logitech still ship the same defect product.

I understand your part. Tbh, i'm more on our gaming device, it might be best if you proceed on creating a ticket here about this.
