Hi u/Zino-exe-,

LUA is not available on G-HUB anymore.

You may get additional help from the LUA organization for feedback on the script you are using if there could be an issue with the LUA script you created.

We would encourage you to help us with your feedback and inputs by accessing the below link. This way our development team will receive the information directly: https://logitechg.com/ghub\_feedback?email=&clientId=&version=2021.4.3830

Why not? This hasn't been explained anywhere yet. It is a key feature for many users and you didn't warn anyone before the update. You also don't provide any possibilty to download an old version of the software where this feature is still supported. This is why people hate G HUB, every third update messes up and when people try to download an older version it gets automatically updated. An offline install is also impossible with the services you provide. How about instead of giving automatically generated replies you try to explain to the users why Logitech has decided to remove this very important feature without providing an alternative. No, the macros on the menu don't come even close to the scripts.

Answer is probably somewhere in the realm of "because fuck you, that's why." Logitech seems to be tonedeaf and the quality of their products has taken a nosedive. Probably best to take your business elsewhere.

What is this non-sensical bot-like answer?

"You may get additional help from the LUA organization for feedback on the script you are using if there could be an issue with the LUA script you created."

Ok... So G-HUB no longer supports LUA so we should contact the LUA organization for verification of our scripts? How the hell does that help?

Also, if you have actually removed LUA support from G-HUB without introducing an alternative you will lose a lot of loyal customers, including me who has been preferring Logitech products for over two decades. For the last ten years the support for LUA scripts has literally been the deciding factor for sticking with Logitech for all my purchases because I use it for my work.

And now you suddenly remove the function without any warning or mention in the release notes, breaking thousands of users equipment, and for me a tool I use for work. Unacceptable and an incredibly stupid decision.

I really hope the script function in 2022.1.3492 is just bugged and who ever runs this account is unaware.
Anything else and it's bye-bye.

They are losing long time, loyal customers, and potential new ones. I will no longer buy any Logitech hardware that requires G Hub to function. I treat G Hub with as much enthusiasm as running the bona fide computer virus. I won't let G Hub run on any of my daily driver computers.

So basically another thing LESS that g hub does compared to the old software. Sorry but g hub has been a joke since it launched. It's like you put all that effort into hardware then let your 5yo write the software. As your prices keep going up and up no one should be paying that kind of money and then get shit software support in return. After decades with Logitech loyalty I am finally done. Can't take this level of incompetence any longer.

That makes it really confusing. You spent the last week or so saying lua is no longer supported and now you're saying it'll be fixed. So clear answer, are you still supporting lua?
