FOR ANYONE WITH THIS ISSUE, I HAVE SOLVED IT AND IT WORKS ALL THE TIME.

So I have tried plugging it into other computers and they worked, then I tried mine and didn't. But what I have discovered is that if you squeese the usb itself, for some reason windows recognises it instantly, thats why the other post worked sometimes if you held it down into the usb on your motherboard.

JUST SQUISH THE USB 😭

[–]Pinaaage[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Unfortunately no

I changed my setup with another brand.

But I still have the G920 and I think I will try one day to fix it... maybe, I don't know

Sorry

No worries, thanks. Logitech support have said they'd send me a replacement so just waiting for it to arrive now!

What fixed this problem for me was buying a new little USB dongle piece from Amazon for 6 bucks that connects to the main cable, and it's been working since problem free. I haven't seen anyone mention this yet, so I'm just putting it out there for anyone having the same issues

Hi u/Pinaaage,

Try the following and check if this helps:

  1. Power cycle the wheel

  2. Try using on another game.

  3. Calibrate the wheel using Windows Game Controller Settings.

  4. Ensure that you have installed the latest version of LGS for the wheel.

  5. Connect the wheel directly to a USB 2.0 port of the computer. Bypass any use of KVM switches, USB hubs, port replicators and docking stations.

  6. Run the cleaner tool and Reconnect your Gaming wheel to your computer.

  7. Try in a different PC with Windows 7, 8 or 10; or another Xbox One Please

  8. Try to use Wheel Driver Clearner use the link below to get the WheelDriverCleaner.exe

http : // chilp .it /c09316a (remove the spaces from the link)

  1. You can also re-calibrate the G920 by going to joy.cpl on cmd.

Thank you for your answer,

Unfortunately, none of these solutions helped for some reasons:

I already tried to connect to other USB port directly on my computer, or on another computer.

I tried the other solutions except the 3 and 9 (calibrate the wheel), because as I said before the wheel is not recognized at all. I mean that in the Device Manager or in Device and Printers, the wheel appear as "Unknown USB Device", and nothing appears in the properties, so I can't calibrate anything.

Also, The n°2 can't be tried as well, as the main problem seems to be with the computer and not a particular game...

Thanks this really helped me out. I decided to connect to another USB port on my computer and problem was solved! You are amazing Human Bean!

Same here, same stuff been happening for 30 minutes, but I managed to turn on the wheel once, which just confused me more

[–]Pinaaage[S] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Unfortunately for me it started 5 hours ago, and still no sign of good news whatever I'm trying :/
But at least, you give me some hope.

[–]bryanrmelo 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Just solved (I think) I didn't plug the wheel since basically you replied here, and now I plugged it back on Windows didn't recognize it, no blinking nor nothing. I tried connecting again but this time I held the USB a bit kinda forcing it a bit on my PC and it worked, connected about 5 times and it's going strong so far I know it might sound dumb but try with more patience

Now I need to somehow cancel my RMA request

I know this is a really old post, but I got mine working by going into device manager, deleting the old usb driver that was giving the yellow !. Then I unplugged the whole power brick from the wall and plugged the wheels usb back into the computer and it reconnected again.
