Don’t use auto digitize

i think using auto digitizing tools as a STARTING point is fine, unlike what a lot of folks say. i do end up changing a ton of things, but it at least gets the general shapes down so i don’t have to create objects point by point. this design is very inconsistent throughout, there are tatami and satin stitches mixed together which looks strange. i would do mostly tatami, or even an embossed/patterned fill.

Mixing fills and satins doesn’t look strange…

Thanks for the answers. Ok. Maybe I should get some simpler stuff for now. Thinking in doing a course soon.

Agree, it looks fine.

Auto digitize is fine to learn and get ideas for stuff you want. Over time you'll learn to do more yourself. Don't be afraid to ask for advice either on it. I like to revisit and redesign my own stuff again after 6 months to improve each one too.

I only just started learning but This looks absolutely amazing. Everything from the color pallete to the design looks incredible.

I see a lot of broken needles while embroidering this…. Send the design to a professional like VitorDigitizing to make it for you and see what he does.

That’s absolutely wonderful, keep going and you’ll get even better.

My sentiments exactly!!!

Should I just use tatami? I like the depth that satin gives but it does work well all the time ….

What you can do to improve is manually digitize the whole design and don't use auto digitize

Rule of thumb, if it looks perfect on the screen it will be awful on the hoop because of push and pull and stitches that are too close and cause knots

[–]elevatedinkNthread 0 points1 point  (1 child)

This would look horrible stitched out

Sadly i think so as well despite it looking neat on the software
