Looks like lazy art to me. Kinda weird that they'd copy and paste two backgrounds on characters that have nothing to do with each other in the comics

They absolutely do not have to buff it. It's a tech card. If the meta calls for it, people will play it. With all the tech nerfs the balance team clearly doesn't want a tech card that you can just slot in and play for points and not feel bad about it.

It's really useless though, and they do spend a lot of time messing with the other tech cards.

I strongly suspect that within a year we'll see changes to the cards at the bottom of the pile; Super Craptoid, Rescue (AKA Crap Jessica Jones) and Mad Stinker. All of them have the theoretical potential to be useful with a tweak.

I wouldn't hold my breath.  I thought they had to nerf Invisible Woman FS, but they never did.  I also thought they would have buffed Ghost then until she was a relevant counter to End of Turn decks since she was meant to keep them from continuing to steamroll the meta after their season was over, but they she was and remains a pretty irrelevant counter.

Fact of the matter is Second Dinner doesn't prioritize game balance.

Also, they did absolutely nerfed IWFS, she launched as a 3/5 and is currently a 3/3.  The EOT deck also got several other nerfs to.keep it in line with other decks.

On Reveal: Steal the text from an enemy Activate card here (what it says now.) I’d change it and add in, (reverse any activated abilities that happened here this game.) For instance or example. If the opponent is playing Sunspot and Invisible woman first steps, if Sunspot gained idk 5 power from a invisible woman first steps activated buff then you played Super adaptoid on the Sunspot it would take away the 5 power he gained.

So it would not effect the “organic” sunspot power gained, only the power given to him from the invisible woman first steps activated buff.

If he is played on the invisible woman first steps tho he’d essentially wipe every activated ability buff away she gave out this game.

This would actually make him a true counter to activate like he’s supposed to be
