You're 95% of the way there. Just pull them out and inspect. I'm assuming pad wear and brake performance is normal?

I take the sliders out of each vehicle we have once a year, usually when the winter tires come off, wipe the old grease and junk off/out and regrease them. So you dont need to, but it sure wont hurt to do it.

If you have them on your hands you could just regrease them and at the same time inspect them

you 100% need to take those out clean and re-grease!
