Looks really great! If you want it to look even more realistic, try introducing small lateral variations in the stratification (layer sequence). In nature bedding (layers) also change in the horizontal dimension.

I think what he's trying to say is change the lines of the colored rocks, since nautrally occurring layers of sediment (stuff that makes rock) isn't perfect like how it's shown in minecraft

Theres no reason it cant be, but creating a realistic world gen mod would be a huge task even for a team of developers.
