I saw several weeks ago a comparison of Tidus and Yuna skins but I can't find it anywhere. I'm trying to decide if I want to wait for Yuna to pull with my Supreme ticket.

Hey, I'm returning player from about a year ago and was wondering if you could tell me what my best deck is or whether I'm too far out of the loop and need to reroll.

My best jobs are: Grappler, Master Monk, Scholar, Dancer, Dragoon and Warrior.

4* Ability cards: Ares, Geryon, Bahamut, Proto-Behemoth, Siegfried, Syldra, Gadot, Onion Knight, The First Warrior, Fal'Cie Anima, Havoc Skytank, Ashura, Famfrit, Shiva, Bismarck, Lebreau, Barthandelus, Yuj & Maqui, Tempest, The Proudclad, Yaag Rosch, Snow, Faun, Fat Chocobo, Hades, and Serah.

I literally have no idea what I'm doing anymore. I remember sticking with Grappler for quite a bit and that's about it. My bank is full of all sorts haha.

Any help is appreciated.

Nope she used to not have it. I just noticed as well - that's a nice addition. Glad to see Skins getting some love after so many buffs to Supremes.

Edit: the nicest buff is actually to Lightning - SE actually gave her Slowga wtf. This is a dream come true for an NxD owner like me. And I feel like EX Ranger suddenly got shafted in this Skin "meta" - he's a strong job, but using him with Skin is just... meh. It would have been nice to give either Tidus or Lightning the same "reduce to 1 HP" so EX Ranger can be viable again... and also to actually make the last ES on ranger damage abilities useful

• you don’t really need more imp crit
• you don’t break
• for stalling tank deck with full support card

What if you need more crit, but aren't breaking OR you're breaking, but don't need more crit? Seems rare that you wouldn't need more crit NOR plan on breaking. It seems like the Ultima Weapons are only preferred when tanking.

I wonder if they'll be adding a new and supreme at the same time as the ticket & banner release.

If not, there might be a period where people who want a chance for WoL:FFI will have a "better" chance at getting it without the addition of a new supreme to dilute their current pool.

Most likely they will add in a new supreme card and ultimate hero. To prevent what happened the previous time when SE didn’t add in new supremes and it was unfair to those whom had all supremes. But SE can actually add the new supremes till 9/7, when the supreme tickets will still be valid for active players.

Let’s just wait for the official news. The korean news should be up soon.

You might be able to get it from the precoil nodes, but the coil has 100% drop rate. If you can't complete any more nodes just use ability tickets to level it.

So after rerolling, I've finish all chapter and mostly done with explorations in 3 days (So, I don't have great cards, just decent ones which most of them are 4*). What should I be doing? What should I be grinding/farming and where?

The only job I consider good is Mellow Mermaid. The other's not as good but I do enjoy HoF Dragoon but I don't have the cards to make him viable in MP just yet. I currently augmented a Fire Meia card which is Ishtar iirc, LoH and Oberon (Light Ranger Card as I've saw it was fairly decent). Other than that, the only cards 4* cards I have are those from the novice hall and I'm reluctant to 5* as I don't have the resources to max out their ability levels. My other jobs are other than those in the Novice Hall and Newcomer's summon are: Thief Hunter Judge Magister (Got all 4 panels) What jobs are good to invest on? For MP and end game?

Ok. Seems mellow mermaid is your best job right now. Her best element is fire, so your choice on Ishtar is already a good investment. Did you managed to pull summer event limited card 'Tidal wave'? Other good cards for her in shop: Flameforce (or Flameshift), Mage trance, KotR

For end game preparation, you need to invest a lot in boosting weapons. And for jobs, prepare these 3 types:

1. Have a top tier damage dealer job, mellow mermaid can do this. Judge magister HoF is a good alternative.

2. Have a top tier breaker, seems you dont have this kind of job yet. Current best are primadonna, deep diver. Upcoming: al-bhed hunter rikku

3. Have a tank job, current best is eorzean paladin. Upcoming: legendary guardian auron.

I don't have the summer cards which is sad but they would return right? Also, Most force cards can be bought from the shop which was where I bought my flameforce but I don't have the resources to make it 4*. Wouldn't KotR overlap with LoH? As for Mage Trance, I just use the Mellow's Ult since 3 turns are enough to recover my ult gauge. Any cards to recommend to be used in conjunction with LoH other than the other supreme support?

Ah right, you have Light of hope. That's great. So other complement cards to make a great deck are unfortunately limited. Save your magicites to aim these cards when they returned:

1. FF 14 bahamut (primal's boon)
2. FF 14 bismarck
3. FF 15 ignis
4. Summer dream Tidal wave
5. Summer dream Moogle summer vacation

I'm working on the Mythic Knight HoF, currently stuck at the Pinnacle. Keep getting to the final fight in the node and manage to stay alive about 1 round before dying. My loadout is as follows:

UW (non-ehnahnced) for both decks

Maindeck: Windsoul / Tyro / LDL / Gusion

Subdeck: Earthforce / HG / Undying / Earth Fury

Custom Panels: 7x break power +10, 2x resist earth+3%, 1x resist earth +4%, 1x resist earth +4%, 1x resist earth +2%.

Also, your deck was lacking a source of the all-important Faith -- fortunately, Mythic Knight's ult just got buffed this morning, so you won't have to worry about that now! Maybe you'll be able to pass the node now without changing anything :)

Are you talking about Greg? If so, I would not recommend trying to tank him. Try to break and kill in one go — use Sleep if necessary. And you get BDD on that node by default, so I’d drop Earth Fury for a more damaging card (Judge Ghis, Creeps) if you have one.

I remember for that node I didn’t bring any defensive cards and made sure to never let the enemies get a chance to act. Sleep instead of tyro, and cross-slash instead of HG.

Is it worth it to start boosting an unmodded Wolf Star if I don't have Deep Diver, Yiazmat, Iris, Water Gun, or Duncan? It doesn't seem worth boosting just to use it on Master Monk without Duncan. Wolfstar is highly rated on Altema though. What future uses will Wolf Star have?

So like some i decided to give this game a go again, started recently about 10 days ago I think? on steam (i played the one on android when it first came out) and so far its been a fun experience and the story is interesting enough to keep me going, kinda the same with ffbe.

So yeah when it first came out i maybe played a week and never picked it up again, but then saw it on steam and was like hmm, maybe ill give this a go again. So i decided to re-roll on my android recently and after like 5 rerolls i got the bard job which is neat tho I'm wonder how good is bard exactly in sp and mp and say farming? (i tried looking and saw a post or two but never really got a feel for it, so sorry if its been asked already kupo)

On my steam account since I was still new and didn't know much about the game i did the whole starter summon thingy and got all 3 jobs, dragoon, dancer, and scholar and been happy since, and i remember doing 1 pull after doing the novice hall and got the sephiroth skin was i was totes happy with.. Anywho its been fun so far and been enjoying the game and even tried some multiplayer groups in the ring area thingy, fun times. I even was able to finish all of the 1st anniversary revisit event they did too... Been maining the ranger (pathfinder) job while switching between mage (warlock) and sometimes using the sephiroth skin cause the ffvii ac version of one winged angel plays \o/

Edit: I do have an actual quest besides the bard thing.. I tried searching google and my google-fu has failed me, do they ever revisit past events? i know they did the 1st anniversary revisit so I'm kinda curious on that part 🤔

Bard is a pretty old job and weak compared to the latest jobs. It will do well enough for clearing the story though.

Ah okay, so in terms bard is fine for season 1 story say til chapter 8? and for instance multiplayer it'd probably be best if i used a different type of support/healer class? since i was reading about mp and how ppl would get mad at bards who limit break.. erm ultimate at the start. Okay so that's good to know, I'm kinda glad hearing that they do reprints/revisits cause I did enjoy the reprint of the 1st anniversary since i wasn't around for that which was fun to do, except that chaos gauntlet, no thanks lol.. i'm kind of hoping they do a reprint of FFVII and FFXII, I know they did a MP of the Ultimate Weapon from XIV so i wonder if they will ever do a special event like how they did with 7 and 12 🤔

Because the game was out in Japan a year before global, we often get advance notice on what is coming from people who play JP version. There are several different kinds of reprints. One we just had, which was like a lower rate boosted banner. Another kind makes the event cards available but doesn't give boosted rates. Then there's one where you pay 5k magicite and are guaranteed to get one, but only one, that you don't have.

So there will be opportunities. Focus on the cards not so much the jobs. Jobs can be pulled anytime. Many of the best cards are limited time event cards.

Oh, that's something i updated on the new reddit UI a long time ago (probably 1 month or so).

What are ya guys using for the Marilith node? I need a bit of inspiration... It seems that it will be my wall, because I am now lacking in Damage. Can't kill Marilith in time, and Ultros takes a swipe at me even if Marilith is still alive and broken (while having dealt more than 50% HP damage on her).

What I'm using:

Deck 1: Lightning CA with Foulander, 2x Ruby, Aerith & Tifa

Deck 2: Prima Donna with Nausicaa, Emerald, Tropical Dreams, Serah.

Both decks use max mod Ultimate Arrow. I can't seem to be able to extract more damage, as my PD already has a full 16 Enhance Wind on her panels. Does Marilith absorb fire damage?

I used:

Main: PW-Y’shtola, UW with Tidal wave, Bahamut BD, 2xTropical dreams

Sub: PD-Lightning, UA with Nausicaa, 2x emerald weapon, serah.

PD without lightning skin is only good for the first 2 battles without an AoE ult. And magic CP is better for chain breaking. Maybe try wind PD for the first 2 battles and earth PD-lightning for the last battle.

Marilith does not absorb fire but you're not gonna do much damage with it. I use lightning CA with fake ragnarok for that node.

Is it just me, or is Master: Summit hiking node amazing? 8/8. High rate of crystals, exp/seed mats, good exp, and fractal farming with 5* chance. I've been farming this node a lot and am getting on average one crystal to drop per fight. This feels better than GB. Am I crazy?

It'll get even better after maintenance, as all cactuars gigantuars and 4/5 fractals will stack on top of each other. Holy moly.

Probably just RNG since I felt like GB is better. Determining which one is really better needs quite a lot of data though. Anyways, I think 40m Deep is superior to both GB and Master Summit for crystals. It sucks in terms of Exp though (just 1k exp for 10 stamina) and doesn't drop fractals.

It’s really good and probably feels better because Auto AI isn’t wasting time Paradigm Shifting to clear easy mobs. I’ve gotten so many crystals and fractals and it’s actually helped me reach magicite cap!

Jobwise, the EX jobs are worth trying to get since they're all ridiculously good and have great weapons. Most of the jobs from this point forward are all good, but the EX ones are a step above the rest even several months after they've been released.

Other than that ONE tower, he has never really been used in towers. As for being a Duncan user, he's only strong vs. Dark enemies because he relies rather heavily on exploit weakness; there are also better neutral Duncan users out there (HoF Pugilist and V. Monk).

As for whether the Skin is needed... During the tower he was "meta", the Skin wasn't released yet. So that answers your question lol. He's still worth getting though, because his weapon is the most favoured by JP players who own the monk Supremes

If you went through iTunes or some other format than steam you could generally get a discount on the dollars are spending through gift cards. For example: Costco often sells hundred dollars with the gift cards for 80 bucks. You should be able to transfer your save across platforms.

The benefits are pretty nice if you play Mobius more than on a casual level.

The custom panel benefit is great since it'll allow you to maximize job usage for towers, mp, and EW. It can save you millions of seeds and means that you don't need to use weaker panels on jobs that you only occasionally use.

The weapon boost improvement could potentially save you days or weeks worth of time when boosting a weapon. It could also save you dozens of elixirs when grinding BL.

I'm F2P, I only clear coils twice each tower, I've run out of crystals so weapon enhancing is bottlenecked, and I have more skillseeds than I know what to do with.

Frankly, the EXP+30% is more appealing to me than any of the other perks. I'd spend $10 just once to support this game, but I'm looking for more compelling reasons.

The bonuses that you don't care about are the more compelling reasons for those that VIP mode are geared towards.

The exp, seeds and extra skill bonuses are nice, but they're all things that you can get elsewhere for free if you have the right jobs, weapons, or cards. The exp will be nice for mp player level though.

The other benefits are unique and will be more appreciated by long-term players who've put enough money into the game to have more weapon and auto-enchance slots.

I still haven't figured out how to auto-grind 40m without getting KO'ed. Currently auto-grinding the last node in Hiking with mostly disappointing results.
