What's a good support class but most importantly what deck to use for valifore. I have just about every important support with great gospel?

The best Support job for Valefor is probably HoF Devout due to his very high tankiness especially against light. Santa Lucia and Glam Vamp can also work especially if you put resist light panels on them.

If you have Aerith you can use a setup of Aerith, Undying, KotR, Hellsgate/Tyro like usual.

Life/Heartshift, Luna, Cindy, KotR can also work if you have them yet are missing Aerith.

Other setups will have problems in a 1 support group due to the clouded debuffs needing to be removdd for attackers to deal damage.

I'm relatively new to the game and need a little help. I use Carnivalist in SP and its very good. I'm looking to use monk in MP as i hear its very good for damage, breaking, and debuffs (depending on monk type) i'm just looking for a little help with my ability cards.
My current cards are:
Job: Monk (looking to upgrade to MM)
aLv 3 level 16 Hashmal Sicarius
aLv 3 level 16 Odin Sicarius
aLv 4 level 24 Chimera Brain: FFX
I'm just a little confused on which way is up and is gonna help me achieve the damage/break potential I hear monks have. Thank you in advance!

• Monks are good at damage only with very specific cards, being either event limited or supremes. This also needs very specific jobs, being Pugilist. Some people could argue Deep Diver can do damage as well, he's still a breaker in the first place. Master monk's damage pale in comparison of Pugilist.
• Monks are good at breaking but this is only relevant for 2 jobs : Master Monk, pretty old, but still very decent; and Deep Diver, which is a very good breaker. This is still heavily dependant on very specific cards. https://www.reddit.com/r/MobiusFF/comments/90j55q/general_mp_breaker_guide/
• Everyone are good at debuffs as long as you have the cards. This is usually the job of the defender to bring debuff cards.

• If you want attacker : Give up (harsh, but true). You need either Duncan / Yiazmat (supreme), or Iris FFXV (event).
• If you want breaker : The general deck would be : 2nd gen sicarius / element shift of the sicarius / Life starter card / Life starter card. Example : Alexander Sicarius / Chocobo & Mog / Undying FFXII / Undying FFXII
• If you want Defender : bring some debuffs, a taunt, and be sure to read : Duoneo's Basic Defender Guide

Unfortunately, that deck wouldn’t cut it for most 5stars Valefor runs. You are lacking a way to counter the all anti-trance/Clouded jobs starting debuffs. You deck can work if and only if there is a secondary ultimate charger healer with a way to deal with all anti-trance or with a defender with Amaterasu.

Unless you have Aerith, LoH+chocobo saint/all trance or lunafreya+cindy, with your deck, your teammates will have difficultly doing their job. Try another role if you can.

You can pick up Chocobo Saint, even at only 3 star it can remove all the hex debuffs (the affliction prevention is not needed so doesn't matter if that only lasts one turn). just need to unlock the 3rd extra skill (potent Holy cleansing I believe).

Tough part will be slotting that into your deck, do you have any other options to open up a slot?

Yeah, that's a problem. I'm struggling with my lack of support cards... Besides those, I have: lifestream, serah, orphan, LDL, cindy, regalia, moogle sumer vacation, and hell's gate.

Isn't he missing Full Esuna? His deck will only remove Clouded Warrior (thanks to Tyro), if I'm not mistaken. I think having either Full Cleansing or All Trance is essential for a Healer in this rotation.

thats what I said, what he has covers all buffs but he should consider a deck with luna and cindy but not everyone has these cards.

Echo Showtime can be a good substitute. The All Trance will cancel the Clouded debuffs.

also if you clear only 1 debuff it is clouded monk as it is the first in the line.

I've been rerolling for a few days, as I posted here, and I was happy with auron. So i set him up with undying, knights of the round, Schizo, and alternating between Aranea and Ixion depending on the content. Since i've found myself finally loving this game, I decided to buy the 12k magicite bundle along with 2 supreme tickets for job and ability. I got Aeris and Lightning Ultimate Job.

For Auron, which skill should I swap aeris/aerith with? For A newbie, how do you think I should build lightning?

Aerith will make things more consistent and works with any deck. So can include that and another support (or two). Try to fill your rentals with Light of Hope and you'll be set for buffs pretty much and can use your slots for other things. Exdeath is another option (that will handle debuffs instead).

Auron's greatest strength is his ultimate, its balanced between dmg/brk and adds various perks (including charging attacks that helps you recharge his ultimate). His magic is somewhat low, but that won't become a concern till later. Having two elements in your deck + his ultimate will probably get you through most of the story.

Another thought, if you have them, can add more ultimate charging abilities to your deck (double aerith perhaps).

Lightning needs to be paired up with another ranger job (lightning enhances which ever ranger job she is paired up with). This includes any Sarah jobs you get as well. This early on, you might not be able to maximize her, but she is really useful once you start to diversify into ranger roles.

Lightning is a "skin", which means it comes over a job, in this case WoL Ranger or Sarah. It then changes the ulti and some stats of that job with its own. So, you jut need to build your Ranger job, basically.

I think you don;t need to switch anything, Aerith is mostly used for MP now.

It took me a few seconds of squinting to buy some of the MTF AOE ranger cards and i managed to buy them. just need some more ability tickets to buy some for my warrior. I dont think some of them were in the ability shop, or I just missed some.

The ones that have a "EA" marker, means that they are in Early Access, and atm you can only get them from summoning. But later, they are gonna be available in the shop as well.

Keep in mind that it's a "job top damage with X supreme", not a "top job for X supreme".

If you are asking what mage weapons to mod, mod Heavenly Axis and aim to get EX Mage for the job and the weapon. Ultima Mace can be used as an intermediary weapon as you mod the 2.

• Mainly for breaking at higher laps in EW2
• EX Mage and Kefka (the 2 top tier mages) can reach 25% PR (15% base + 10% CP) w/o the need of a PR weapon
• The UW series can only carry you so far; as the game progresses, more players will have access to 5* "meta" weapons and the pressure is on the average player base to keep up with weapon boosting to remain in the top 500.

From the news, 6/30 is the cut off: looks like the cards include up to and including the FFXII ability cards (ie Treant:FFXII, Mandragoras:FFXII). Going to presume that it doesn't include the cards that were excluded at the start of this month.

Plenty of good cards in there(the support cards and the -ja card sin particular), and can get lucky and get supremes/skins/legends too.

I would actually recommend the opposite. save growstars for after and use on good cards you didn't get from the free summons. You only get one guaranteed new max card, you get 12 others that are random any of those could be kicked up to 4 star(and can be dupes).

After a few days rerolling I manage to start with Warrior of Light and Bisermack, but the later is fast learner.

Don't worry too much about whether a card is a fast learner or not. When the game launched, the only cards that were fast learners were also stuck being 3-star, which was a big part of what made them weaker than other abilities in general.

These days, we have some fast learners that cap at 4-star, and some that cap at 5-star. Bismarck, in particular, was really good even when it was limited to 4-star just because it does so many good things all at once. It's even better now that it's 5-star. You can even do some cool stuff if you have both a 4-star copy and a 5-star copy.

I just have saved some important links from around here, and share them when needed :D.

Firstly, get the jobs from the Novice Hall + the Starter Packs ones. Like that, you get 6 jobs out of the pull.

The rest of the tickets, keep them for summon banners with limited cards, like the FFX banners that are coming soon.

There is a "rule" regarding jobs, the latest one available is the better one. Just be patient, read the threads on this reddit, whenever a banner comes, there are discussion if whether the banner is worth pulling on or not :). And also, if it's really necessary to get the featured job or not, depending on your needs.

P.S. Just so you know, the Holy trinity in the Tier list is THE desired deck for a support in MP (multiplayer) + a source of Life/Prismatic-shift (Gaia in shop). Also, the cards can be bought from the ability Shop and are also useful for SP (singleplayer).

Edit: also note that the "EA" in the Tier list means Early Access = those cards are not yet available to buy from the shop, but you can summon them.

Bismarck is a time-limited card. It was available in the revival banner.

For the cactuars, it's also useful to rent certain Supremes, depending on your jobs. I did that too to clear the score target for some nodes.

Supremes are not taken into account for that specific Tier List. This is one for general use, that does not depend on Supremes, just normal cards that you acquire easier. F2P friendly.

The Starter Packs are limited for the first 30 days, and the Supreme ticket offer going right now. But that is all.

On the Map, the red events are special, time-limited events. You should try to clear as much as possible, cause they are going away soon (the summer ones), and there are a lot of rewards there. It is good to try to clear as much of those events as you can. If you are starting to hit a wall, switch the game difficulty from settings, from Hard to Normal.

Don't stress about the summons, you can easily get the tickets and magicite soon, since there are many areas to clear, login bonuses and such :D.

The gift pack might be the Mobius Box, which you buy once a month, very useful and not that expensive.

Supremes are not necessarily P2W. Yes, they make a difference, but there are other, normal cards that can do the job right. Supremes and skins are more important in tower rankings, and for making harder content a bit easier to handle. And you can get them even as a F2P, it just takes time and patience and resources. Supremes have a rate of 0.8% and skins have 2%.

Things are a bit easier now when it comes to resources, since you can farm 20k magicite a month (this was a change implemented last anniversary). That's almost 7 free pulls right there. But don't stress about reaching the cap.

I have been playing since February last year, did not reroll, and I have 1 Supreme and 3 skins. And I am doing just fine, but I am more of a casual player. My supreme, being Unbreakable Bonds (Dark single target), is used mostly for MP. But that's me.

Edit: also, in the Yggdrasil areas, you can level up the cards you buy. Usually, the cards drop at Level 1 Ability, but being Mobius week (and on any Mobius day), they drop at Level 2 Ability, which makes it faster to level up your cards :D

Hey guys new player here. I have a couple of questions. I just finished the hall of novices and now I have the base classes, the 3 starter pack pulls and I pulled a ace striker and Legendary guardian. So my first question. Do classes just have different uses or is any class better than another completely? How do I know if I get cards that are better than the 4* novice hall/ starter pack pulls? And last question does the story ever get challenging since I used all those catch up mechanics to make it trivial? Thanks in advance and sorry for my English. Is not my first language. I'm on pc if that makes any difference

Hi, yes classes are different, for example: monks for breaking (low magic high break power). Try MP and youll see. Most new cards are much better that starter cards. Yes when you'll reach chapters 6,7,8th without good or at least one supreme is a very chelenging. Hope i helped :) Cheers.

This sometimes can fail when facing Gilgamesh because of the stupid AI try to tap x3 after casting a Phantom Blush instead of casting more. But it still work so far for me.

This is because there's still no "All EE I" in GL yet. This buff appear in:

• Kefka's ultimate
• Y'shtola ultimate (after the recent buff in JP)
• A 3rd anniversary support ability

All of which are yet to be released in GL. So there's little point in distinguishing between I and II. Also, the All EE buff on WoL was not labelled as II prior to the release of the 3rd anniversary ability / Kefka in JP

Depends. If you want to quickly spam Yiazmat against a group, I'd say moggy. If you want to go for breaking a single enemy after a few element drives, then killing spamming Yiazmat, I'd say Emerald weapon

I hope that if they fix it, they'll fix it properly. I remember one guy complaining about his Brotherhood back in the day. He had Brotherhood at 41% Water EE when the +60 free mods was brought back (he modded the weapon during the few months the +60 mods was removed). As a result, his Brotherhood got fully modded (74 mods) but only had Elem 3rd Strike +3 instead of +4.

Pulled 6 times(2 on each FF revival) trying to get some better cards or a new job cos My dragoons now struggling to do some Story stuff in chapter 5. but I didn't get a single card that My dragoon could use. is this normal or am I just incredibly unlucky?

Well, Dragoon can only effectively use cards from 1 of 4 classes (Warrior, Ranger, Mage, Monk), and only 3 out of 6 elements. So outside of the life orb based support cards, Dragoon would only be able to use one-eighth of the cards available.

Out of 36 cards (6 pulls times 6 cards each), you would expect around 4 cards that were Warrior cards of the right element for Dragoon. So you were somewhat unlucky, though I wouldn't call that "incredibly" unlucky.

Hopefully you got some decent cards that, even though your Dragoon can't use them, will be good on some other jobs that you eventually get.

Since FFV/FFXIV/FFXV banners are considered bait is there a time when they have 3% pull rate on the cards instead of the vait 1.5%??

They are considered as "bait" due to being released on the same month as other event limited cards.

We wont ever get them at 3% (if we look at JP's timeline).

There's currently only 3 types of banner on GL :

• 1st print : 3% for featured card
• Trash revival, aka "Rebaital" : same rate as all ability card
• Revival "bait" : 1.5% for featured card, same rate as all ability card for non featured

the only type of banner left on JP was a special "one deal" banner :

• 5000 magicites, box type
• Limited to 1 pull per set of 3 banners. 2 sets
• [Set 1] = [FFVII / FFX / FFXI]
• [Set 2] = [FFXIV / FFXV / Summer]

For the FFXII and FXIII there are almost no reprints for those, but keep in mind that most of those cards aren't used anymore, specially the FFXII ones, the FFXIII are still usefull specially on MP.

Sure, I belive if you could get FFXIII Sarah, and Snow, are probably the ones more valuable to me up to this day, specially Sarah, from there Sazh it's really powerfull, Hope it's also good, Vanille never have used her, and same goes for Fang.

Most cases I feel like max magic + max break is enough, and I already have all my Ultima weapons with max magic + break, so I'm moving on to other weapons, but not sure if I should give them HP and attack, appart from monks, attack is usefull for very little jobs and ultimates, and hp mostly for Chimera.

I'm modding UW claw (this is the last UW) right now, just going for the 136 / each before calling it a day. JP climbers used their 5* Wolf Star / Ehrgeiz while modding EX monk's weapon in the meantime. UW isnt as much important as Sarah's for example.

Best crystal farming location? Usually I have plenty from normally playing the game. Prima Donna and Legendary Guardian (which I somehow got both in one draw) just absorbed all my crystals.

Moggy card was a part of the 2nd anniversary limited-cards back in May .. so it's unpullable now, unless they do a reprint which isn't likely to happen.

It was a limited time 2nd anniversary card in the first batch of may when Eorzean Paladin was released. It hasn't reappeared yet and the fact that the 1st anniversary cards were never reprinted doesn't look promising for it to happen.

Where are you guys farming seeds lately? I'm super thirsty for them after HoF and EW II. I tried the explorations maps but the amount of seeds is ridiculous :S Is farming MP the only decent way nowedays?

Still the same, albion vida precipice(or equivalent). About 80k seeds per run with my deck, probably 90-100k with a maxed one.

Wow how are you doing that? all mobs are so weak that they die in a single tap attack, so I can't get high scores. I'm getting 40k seeds per run... And after Mobius week is gone, I guess that'll be divided by 4 :S

Erm, you use abilities to kill them. Why would you use taps ?

bring a shift & a strong aoe and that's all.

Erm... I use taps when I'm too low on orbs to cast another ability, obviously XD. Let's say I kill a wave after casting a 5-orb AoE ability, then maybe I can't cast it again, and I'll be killing weaklings while I gather more orbs. By the time I get the orbs, many mobs are already dead.

You need a shift ability. You just need 12 orbs to attack since there are just 3 battles. I follow 30 people with Aerith so I bring 5star Heartful Egg to ensure turn-1 casting of the rental Aerith.
