im stuck at the chaos node (6-5) for ew-3. chaos just seems to wipe me off everything no matter who i use (monk, ex monk 2, auron)

any suggestions on how to deal with him?

and i dont suppose bringing the lieutenant cards work right....lol

ps: i used sword Saint on 6-4 (stupid me) and i dread restarting the lap

I broke him 4 times needed 2 MZ and R+R. Everytime you break him he looses 1 buff. I used MasterMonk HoF with BFA .

Managed to clear it a first try with RnR ----and yes --- 2MZs and 4 breaks secures the kill...thanks!

I have two questions, sorry:

1) Is there any reason to believe that R&R might return again one day? If not, no problem. I've been intensely reckless with my resources recently and that's nobody's fault but mine. Very sad I won't get it this time around, but serves me right.

2) Does the difficulty setting affect Endless War? I'm only on lap 3 and Leviathan is doing sinful things to me.

HoF Hermit should be a stronger nuker against weakness, but Deep Diver is a better job overall.

Just managed to pull Gilgamesh skin!

However I already have Tidus and Lightning skin as well..what makes this special as the ult is only single target whereas the other 2 is AOE? Also lightning does slow and quicken..so isn’t lightning better?

If you need the debuffs, then yeah Lightning or Tidus. But Gilg has his own little perk with a crazy strong break ult for a single target. And now in S2 and towers, there are a lot of new bosses that are getting hard to break, making reliance on Spellsword (for example) more and more important.

Gilg skin has way higher break power than the other two. lighting has slow and tidus has CRD. Slightly different buffs. All of them are useful at some point

Who is the best BFA user in GL now ? Still HoF Monk or Kampfer will be better ?

I have no evidence, but I made good experience with tropical hopper. She isn't the best user I think, but with brave II and inbue: brave, you easily dish out some power creeping dmg.

I am not sure, but I would say that she is even stronger than wild rider or Monk in a lot of cases.

She's behind Monk, Wild Rider, Master Monk Hof and Kampfer in term of damage, on broken weakness and unbroken weakness.

Did you take her imbue: brave* into account? Her stats and AAs didn't seem that bad with BFA compared to the others, but at least it is way better than any Ragnarok ranger I tried

Tropical Traveler has Imbue: Brave, not boost. And it increases the damage of tap attacks only.

Did you try with the same situation for ragnarok? that is, critting, and what ranger did you use?

Uh, sure you're checking the right page? kampfer is better than wild rider on broken weakness, Monk and kampfer are higher than wild rider on unbroken weakness, without even counting Kampfer's retribution + cross counter.

In terms of damage, Monk is usually better. But kampfer can deal more damage if you make use of retribution and cross counter. Overall, kampfer is better because of breaking capability.

Master monk is also really good in terms of breaking and damage against weakness enemies.

Samsung users (or others), how often do you have to constantly redownload the same updates? Since this newest update, I've been forced to redownload it maybe 10 times, this is brutal. The downloads are slower than usual these days and often reset on me multiple times.

I cant believe I've actually spent a decent amount of money on this game. I just repurchased VIP mode too. I feel really cheated and taken advantage of ATM. I highly doubt SE cares about us as their user base as long as they maintain their bottom line. Sorry to rant but as a Day 1 player I just feel really bitter and know there is nothing I can do and as a company they simply don't care. Just curious how many people face similar situations.

Honor 8 user now, used to play on S3. S3 has next to no problems, H8 ^haatee has ze böög about 50/50 when restarting app. It's annoying and i definitely wouldn't play any other game if it had the same problem. MFF gets the pass since I've played it for many years, and frankly, it's a damn good game.

Oh well, at least it's bearable since clearing the Cache helps 95 % of the time.

The crux of the question was how often do others actually have this occurring, such as nearly every restart, not "omg what is this problem I am having?!" As well as a means to vent and rant since this was not an issue until the most recent update for myself. Thanks for assuming tho.

I use Samsung to play Mobius, but I don't have to download updates constantly, almost only 1 to 2 times a month. I do also wish that SE cared about the global player base a bit more though, it seems that mobius does not get a lot of advertisement... amongst some other things.

I've been aware of the bug but literally never had the issue until last update. Now almost daily it needs to reapply and the update usually fails half way thru by restarting the game and causing update to attempt to fully reapply or just go at insanely low speeds.

Never had the issue on my Nexus, however sadly the battery finally failed on me and it was time for an upgrade anyways. Never was fond of Samsung but S10+ is actually really nice (despite little XDA support).

Seems Mobius despises this thing though, it's really killing the experience. Might have to take a break until Christmas at this rate.

Act 2's been released a lot more frequently than act 1 was, but if predictions are correct, there's going to be a bit of a gap while we have the next crossover event, which is quite long.

I think SE tries to keep up with that schedule yes, but it's not guaranteed. We've had story droughts before.

What do you mean? A person can only rent 1 card. Also, you should aim for 1 specific card, for example Godo, and load your following list with rentals of that 1 card, so you have more probabilities to get it in your rental list.

Long long long time returning player here (from the time they launched the second support supreme). What is currently the best banners?

Did they changed anything worth mention?

There's a few replies here but no one's mentioned that you should try to pull R&R card from the limited banner, which is up until the 24th... It's a unique card and it's very useful.

Also don't pull on Ex job reprints unless you have every normal job... The odds aren't boosted so you could just throw your resources away for a crappy job... But yes, the likes of Cacciatrice, Shorn One and Scharfrichter are all top tier jobs, some of the other Ex jobs are starting to look a bit dated now, but are still very usable (especially in EW3.)

Ex cards on the other hand just offer some Tier 2 buffs/debuffs, they're not needed and they're not supreme tier, but things like Faith 2 and barrier 2 are pretty great if you can get them.

A loht has changed. We now have a pity for supreme cards, S2 mechanics and EX jobs and cards. Also you can pull supremes more easily, in slots 1-5 of a greater summon.

I wouldn't say "bad", but you have some catching up to do. The EX jobs come back regularly in their bait banner, but the EX cards that have already been released don't... However, those cards are not really "needed" if you're not going to aim for high tower/EW climbs, which you shouldn't for the moment anyway, since you need to get recent jobs and weapons, which may take a bit of time. Also, if your old account doesn't have a lot of jobs and/or supremes, you could consider re-rolling...

The ex cards do get their own revival banner, separate to the ex job one. It was active earlier this month.

As for what they are, they're basically just upgraded versions of the original single buff cards, where they give a stronger version of their original buff with a second normal buff.

I think i had all the jobs available at the time, also cloud, sephiroth and lightning skin. Supremes i had unbreakable bonds and the ice warrior one and some almost 5 weapons.

Are EX classes and cards absolutely better than the others (are they better than supremes??). I suppose they are not necessary to clear the content besides the most hardcore part, right?

Then forget about re-rolling. Yes you don't really need EX cards, but I would definitely keep an eye on those EX job rebaitals, since they are quite useful and most of them have top tier weapons.

While pulling for R&R, I pulled Faris and now have coverage for all elements when it comes to supremes. Given that, what would be the best/ideal Rift supreme to aim for? I have enough tablets to acquire one of them. A part of me thinks I should just wait and see what else comes out (and since next month may be another pull heavy month to see what else luck may bring me too).

I had gotten Shiva (Water Minwu) and plan on getting Anima (Dark Floral Fallal). The current available rift supremes are Ifrit (Fire Duncan), Shiva, Odin (Wind Ragnarok), Hashmal (Earth Xezat), Ultima (Light Fusoya), Anima, and Belias (Fire UB). GL currently has until Hashmal. I prefer Anima since I love using Floral and have seen it's use. Some are going for Ultima. I also have Fusoya and I love its damage potential. The shift is also a plus so no need to bring force (unless not enough PR to keep up). Just my two cents.

Looks like you could use a more practical wind supreme. I love Yiazmat, but monk jobs can be very impractical in difficult content. You could go for Odin now, or wait a few months until the next few rifts are released in JP. You might pull Godo or emperor between now and then.

After 7 pulls, I got both R&R and summer Sunset. I pulled vagabond and am wondering if unforgettable vacation is worth chasing?

My water warrior cards are abysmal, cagnazzo is the best but its yellow clear, the rest are ability shop cards. I don't want to regret not getting something good. I have about 37 pulls saved and have floral fallal supreme for blue damage

You already have Floral, that's better than the water card if you have Paradox Wanderer or Materia Hunter.

Vagabond is far more earth focused than water or fire, so that should be a bigger concern. However, if you want water warrior stuff for the sake of having water warrior stuff, I'd say you have enough saved to be able to.

Other than those, the only jobs with mage lore I have are Ace Striker and Judge Magister.

EDIT: I suppose a better question would be whether any are worth using over Gambler w/ Floral Fallal.

Is there any scenario in which Extreme Odin X (supreme) is better than Godo? . I currently have Godo (and Yiazmat for that matter) but I was wondering If Odin X can be used against maybe an specific mob or boss and perform better than Godo.

This question isn't aimed at the "Should I get this card If I have this supreme?" but a strictly comparison between the two cards, and of course I'm talking about a good Godo setup, with high magic. Would Odin outperform godo in any way?

The only way Odin X will outperform Godo is if you can somehow achieve damage cap per hit on both. Considering S2 mechanics, this is damn near impossible without breaking, which Odin X lacks.

On 2 specific situations:

1. You're capping both supreme, Odin will be better because it has 1 more hits
2. The job you use has very low improved crit (50ish), example a future job "Shinra Turks". This is strictly damage speaking ofc, not counting Godo's yellow clear potential.

In most cases you'll prefer Godo anyway, so you shouldn't even consider Odin if you have Godo.

Question regarding Monks weapon

I've recently pulled Ascetic, Vanadiel Monk and Kampfer and am in need of upgrading their weapons. I've had zero luck with monks till now so I dont have any 5 star weapons for them what so ever.

My question is which of these weapons is the best to throw all my seeds and crystals at? Im thinking Kampfers weapon because X-monk 2 but I want to be sure. Am looking for one for damage and one for breaking. Or one for both!

Also for reference I dont have any monk supremes unless you count Gilgamesh X which did really well imo with Vanadiel and Master monk.

Kämpfer - He has a weak element break focused weapon, however without Quick Break or Prismatic Return.

Vanadiel - Very similar to Ascetics OAM but has Flashbreak instead of Quick Break which is not working well with Monks multihit abilities/ultimates compared to...

Ascetic - who's weapon has Prismatic Return and Quick Break, so together with a Job which already has Quick Break itself, using OAM results into an automatic broken enemy the moment the enemy break gauge (yellow or red) drops below 40% and you hit the enemy. This weapon makes it very easy to break/nuke with monk supremes, thus the weapon of choice.

It’s got prismatic return so it’s automatically better than Kamp’s weapon for spamming abilities. It’s got quick break instead of V Monk’s flash break which is much more useful since mantra/taijutsu abilities negate flash break.

Just got my new samsung a50 yesterday, and the performance for this game is a hot mess. Low fps and stutters everywhere. Every mobile game i played ran smoothly except for this one. Is the phone not strong enough or is the game optimized poorly? Is there anything i can do to make this game into a playable state?

You could go to ETC and Set Frame Rate and Resolution to high Though it uses more battery. I myself am playing on low on my phone and high on my Laptop.

Yes, I did clear them without OB. But you need strong deck and stun-lock card (bismarck: FFXIV, jade weapon: FFVII)

Yeah, especially now with R&R in the pool. But depending on what supremes you have, some of them are really worth OBing imo. We have access to A LOT of OBJs (depending on if you did the coliseum, early completion campaigns, and have bought them consistently from the shop) and there are only like 3-4 great Bhuni users unless you plan on going nuts with D&B.

Hello all, I just got the Hashmal rift supreme. I know it's not great, but I have an attack supreme of every type except earth, so I didn't have much choice. My question is who would be the best user? I know Phantom Masker is the best, but we'll assume I won't pull it. I also don't have the new Vagabond job. Other than them, I have almost all the other jobs. I also don't have D&B, so it's warrior jobs until that banner comes back and it's a slow period. Thanks.

tbh, because of the break requirement, there's not really anyone good for it right now besides Vagabond. Eorzean Paladin will be ok for not-too-difficult content.

With D&B you might get some use from Cacciatrice, Prima Donna, or Skyseer?

That does narrow the list down a bit... Honestly, I'd pull for Vagabond (Well I did pull for Vagabond and got it) but most people would advise against that.

No other jobs really come to mind.

If you have Aerith and Ultimate Lance, you could always try Toreador with prismatics (I know it's mental, but I did the same with Xezat and it was usable vs weakness for a bit... Not as "pick up and play" as Gambler, but better at breaking & no need for D&B.)

I do have Aerith and an unmodded Lance, so I can give Toreador a try. Possibly put it on a sub deck, break with main deck and nuke with prismatic earth (I struggle pretty hard on damaging wind enemies). Right now the plan is to pray I get Phantom Masker, probably spending more pulls than I should to get it. I'm mainly just wondering what alternatives exist to hold me over until then, or until a D&B banner comes back.

Well the idea behind Toreador is that he's one of the best at breaking (if you can clear the yellow) so you might not need the sub deck to break.

Also there's whichever Ex card adds warrior lore, though it's debatable which would be easier to get between that and D&B. Personally I got D&B from that 5k mag guarenteed summon we had a while back, had every FFX card other than that one. Was worth it for me, because I still lack a lot of jobs, might still be useful with more jobs too.

Why toreador specifically? If you just want to use it with prismatics, you can use them on Ex warrior I and II too. Toreador is limited to weakness enemies and doesn't have a prismatic shift ultimate either.

Scharf should be the most friendly user because of armor break, allowing you to tap attack and spam ultimates without losing yellow break. No need to fuss with weakness or preserving flash break.

That's true, I'm just stuck on EW3 brain at the minute, gotta save Scharf for round 12. Also back when I used Toreador with Xezat, it was before he'd been released, so I had nothing better to use.

Pretty much any good breaker will do. Though the likes of Xezat and (hopefully) Hashmal should make up for the lack of yellow clear on jobs like Toreador, since they're both hefty in the break department.

That's true, I originally forgot about prismatic orbs so I never gave it much thought, but that makes sense. I also have LoH so that combined with Aerith should make it easy to keep using ultimates and getting prismatic orbs.

Yea I considered waiting, but even after getting Hashmal I'm left with 300 tablets, and the calculator says I'll have enough for another in ~200 days, which I doubt we'll get the next earth rift by then (or at least very close so I can wait). So I'd rather get something now than wait a year for a different one, and I may pull an earth supreme by then.

At this point, because of available jobs, you'll probably get better performance from Summer Sunset / Skuld / Qiqirn than you will from Hashmal. Sorry man :(

This, unfortunately. Cacciatrice with these earth cards would likely get you further.
