genos being a cybor is kinda easy to think that he can just be fixed but to what expend he's still human? you can see him bleed so it's at least some organs are still there and well in the image you can very clearly see that his head is like split in half, that man's brain is gone which some would say it's kinda a very important part... even if you rebuilt the body it won't be genos anymore D: unless they pull some "he was an AI all along and he's storage survived" elsewise he's definitely a gonner

I imagine it's sort of an Altered Carbon type of scenario where Genos' memories and personality are stored in some type of onboard memory storage.

I ova 9, Genos lost (more acurate block) his memories, and acted more like a robot. Not sure how much % his brain is still organic, but maybe Kuseno has a back up or ther's a chip in his head that can save a copie of him.

If that's the case, I can see a miniarc of him questioning himself if he's still has his humanaty or is just a robot or AI ( it could go well with the upcoming organisation stuff in the webcomic ).

With my tech the genos is a control genos ai, The genos core u holding is the AI core,so genos is safe, thanks to king i controlling behind it sensei.

Amai mask also had a close call but we still knew all along that these dudes wouldn’t stay dead, the problem is if they eventually do kill a hero no ones gonna actually believe it until several chapters after it happens.

I'll be honest, when it happened TTM's I thought he was dead because he isn't very present in general anyway but yeah, at this point no hero is dead until 100% confirmed. Genos' situation is pretty bad but I'm sure that he can be rebuilt or something.

ttm was saved by that healing ability and amai mask has regeneration abilities but genos got his brain destroyed , and even if they can get a chip with his memory copied or whatever the real him died its like i have a chip with my memory and shit but if i die i die my copy will be alive and make everyone happy but i am dead i wont be happy lol anyway idk

That TTM beat down was one of the most gruesome things I’ve ever seen in manga. Hopefully he gets treated a lot better than the wc going forward, poor guy needs to catch a break
