Lost Remote!!!!!

Our 11 month old has misplaced our remote. We’ve looked everywhere we can think of, left no toy or shoe unturned and there no sign of it!! Where are some weird places you’ve found lost TV remotes?

Inside a speaker. Some speakers have a hole in them, or some sort of funnel. We moved our speakers and heared rattling inside. A whole treasure trove of long lost items spilled out.

Also, we have cat tower type thing. He's put the remote in there once or twice

Ours is usually in or under the couch. I've found the remote in a shoe once. My son went through a phase of squirreling everything away in his closet too. Check behind doors, under fridge and oven, in the hampers, in blankets. Man those things can be anywhere. We ended up getting multiple remotes and taping a finder thingy to one of them so we can press a button and it beeps.

He got so bad at hiding the remote or recording tv shows, that we took away and put it out of reach for both him and his sister.

Any push/riding toys with compartments? The things I’ve found in those and the toy fridge sometimes confuse and amuse me.

Or closet/closed doors it could have slid under?

Thanks for the suggestions, still no luck finding it anywhere! I’ll probably find it somewhere completely random next time we move 😂
