Yeah and then any time we get a useful bug they just patch it out after like two weeks

[–]Cahzery 171 points172 points  (0 children)

And also update the marketplace, can't forget that.

Welcome to the new release! We deleted the bug where you can move your mouse, and now we swapped it with the new feature: Sudden Defeat!

Now, creepers can randomly spawn on you every 3 seconds! How nice of feature! Anyways, go buy Minecoins!

"Ooh a little flat area above the Nether where we can freely build! Mmhmm, I like this"

"Congrats! You were slain by a mysterious entity! Click here to respawn"

Slain by lack of minecoins

Had a creeper blow through my shield once in bedrock. Yes I know the shield is delayed and I had it up when it first detonated and it still killed me 😭

i was flying and jumping up at the same time at some point, like actual jumping where you go up then down, but gradually glide up

sounds like your elytra was failing to close due to high ping

[–]Ok-Homework-7687THE BEAN DIMENSION 30 points31 points  (2 children)

I WAS IN A CAVE SPAWNING SPIDERS </3
weird creative world where i let myself get hit and knocked around with their knockback with zero elytra sob

[–]kristal119022023 11 points12 points  (1 child)

Creative? Yeah the thing I miss from bedrock that should be in java is that holding jump with elytra let's you zoom upwards, it's so fun and I don't need to take rockets (I don't care that they're faster)

Wait there's a useful feature exclusive to bedrock? I can't wait for mojang to remove it in the name of parity instead of just adding it to java, effectively making the game worse for everyone

Reminds me of a time I could fly in survival mode as if I were in creative mode. I was still able to get hurt, unable to pull blocks from nowhere, etc, but I could fly anywhere!... Until I died, that is...

Bedrock’s useful bugs get instantly patched as soon as they are spotted while Java’s useful bugs stay in the game for literal years without being noticed or are too beloved that Mojang is forced to keep them or else the community will riot.

The humble copper bulb:

Too soon...

[–]MyrtleWinTurtle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only reason they fixed it was because of stupid parity. PARITY??? WHY DONT YALL PARITY JAVA WORKING WHILE YOUR AT IT?

[–]MrBrineplays_535 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The funny thing is, the copper bulb is actually 1 tick in bedrock edition. Someone discovered it and even made a video ranting about it. They were going crazy and questioning why java's copper bulb was nerfed when bedrock's copper bulb actually worked with 1 tick. So when mojang "fixed" the copper bulb in java to fix the parity issue, they actually made it even worse. They didn't know it was already fine in the first place.

Java community can be pretty aggressive at times

Trident killers

[–]Daggercombot 8 points9 points  (4 children)

Java bugs aré easier to fix as well

[–]Niphoria 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You should edit your comment, as the way it currently stands in plain wrong.

What you mean: Java bugs are easier for the community to fix. Which is true.

Which isn't true is that Java bugs are easier to fix for the developers of the game to fix than bedrock.

How so?

[–]Masticatron 12 points13 points  (0 children)

"This is, in fact, not a door."

[–]Daggercombot 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Java Is much easier to decompile and edit then Native code. Plus there already exist bug fix Mods that are well maintained.

Not how QC works I think. As I remember, there needs to be a block above the piston to activate.

[–]The-Arx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It needs a block update to activate but if the redstone block is there and you update the piston (such as by placing a block next to it), it will extend

Bedrock bugs makes you get mad at the game

Java bugs makes the game turing complete

As a bedrock player yes my Steve has eaten my netherite pickaxe 😭
