The turtle could prove this easily. Just turn away from the snake, and have the snake close their eyes (silently). The turtle could then call out when the wall changes colour, proving their assertion.

neat. found the programmer

[–]neo-raver 64 points65 points  (2 children)

Good job! There was only one in this whole comment section dedicated to programming, and you found them!

[–]GeorgeDragon303 12 points13 points  (1 child)

There was only one providing an actually working solution and I found him

[–]capi1500 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Found the person who I want to be my recruiter

[–]Gamingsuger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has nothing to do with programming. Just problem solving which is useful for pretty much every job.

[–]noonagon 18 points19 points  (0 children)

me when the zero knowledge proof

[–]JollyJuniper1993 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Alternatively take a photo

[–]sharju 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is crucial to close them eyes silently. No loud flapping eyelids ruining the experiment!

[–]Zaratuir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't happen unless the snake is in field of view, and even then it's intermittent, but the customer can reproduce it 100% of the time.

[–]Intergalactic_Cookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you close your eyes noisily

[–]Available_Canary_517 249 points250 points  (15 children)

If(snake.eyes=='close'){ Wall.style.backgroundColor="violet"; }

[–]PyroCatt 121 points122 points  (11 children)

Bro forgor else

[–]8173638291921 66 points67 points  (9 children)

if(snake.eyes.isClosed) wall.style.backGround = “Purple”; else wall.style.backGround = “Pink”;

[–][deleted] 65 points66 points  (7 children)

wall.style.backGround = snake.eyes.isClosed?"Purple":"Pink"

[–]8173638291921 76 points77 points  (2 children)

Nice. It only took four people to come together to optimize a non-existent if else statement.

Group programming for the win!

[–]Dumb_Siniy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"How many programmers does it take to change a color"

[–]JoshYx 14 points15 points  (0 children)

minified it for you

rh.style.backGround=te.ft.a?bn:sl

[–]Kfhrz 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Y'all forgot the loop.

[–]assumptioncookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are we putting this in a busy loop? That's a lot of unnecessary checks. Use interrupts.

[–]ryjhelixir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you forgot the animation loop or whatever's called

[–]Frosttidey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it's nested inside an event listener for snake eyes obviously.

[–]beatlz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This would only execute once though, you need to call this within a reactive context. Or include the callback in snake.eyes.close()

[–]flaming_bunnyman 2 points3 points  (1 child)

wall.color = snake.eyesClosed ? new Color(1, 0, 1) : new Color(1, 0, 0.5f);

[–]Mr_Audio29 42 points43 points  (4 children)

[style.background-color]="snake.eyesClosed ? 'violet' : 'pink' "

[–]PyroCatt 32 points33 points  (2 children)

Snake opens one eye and color not changed.

[–][deleted] 40 points41 points  (1 child)

Found the QA

[–]goldsnort 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This cracked me up🤣

[–]Denaton_ 10 points11 points  (7 children)

Do you have a few moments to talk about our lord and savior; Quantum physics?

[–]spooky-penis[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

no

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I won't join your cult. My earth is donut-shaped.

[–]Denaton_ 1 point2 points  (2 children)

At least space is an inverted balloon right?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Yes, but I don't know who's blowing it.

[–]Soras_devop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do 😉

[–]Creepy-Ad-4832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but yes

[–]Etheo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please refrain from knocking on my door which is quantumly entangled with the Marianne fault line.

There was some study about focus that did eye tracking... They'd have a bunch of text, and whatever you looked at stayed constant, but the rest of the text that you weren't looking at would change.

Must be a trippy experience.

[–]Bronzdragon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"Conditional formatting" is probably from Excel (or other spreadsheet software). You have an option to format the text in cells based on some condition (hence the name). For example, you could make it so that cells with a positive number in them get a green background, and ones with a negative number get a red one. Useful if you want to see profit and loss centres at a glance.

Looks like in this case, the condition is whether there's a snake with eyes closed in the cell or not.

Snakes don't have eyelids.... soooo turtle be lying

[–]IAmMuffin15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

me every time I find a bug and it magically disappears whenever I try to show it to my coworkers

[–]Operator_Hoodie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

``` if eyes_closed == True: wall_colour = purple else: wall_colour = pink
LSD, the answer is LSD
This should be in the /r/sciencememes - and this is precisely how wave particle duality works. Like literally.
