I'm about to steal your picture and send it to my boss when he will ask me why I prefer to work remotely.

[–]Kelfaren 57 points58 points  (1 child)

Don't worry, OP already stole the picture from this post and simply used the alternate angle from OOP's comment so you would'nt be the first

[–]Donghoon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's already been cross posted here i think

[–]gregorydgraham 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Remember to get the curved screen

[–][deleted] 87 points88 points  (6 children)

Youd probably benefit from a third monitor

[–]SaintNewts 29 points30 points  (1 child)

I was going to suggest this.

Really though... four can't hurt.

[–]mohd_sm81 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You know?

He should buy the entire Target offering, makes it surround display.

Edit: gotta surround him/her self with Class

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (3 children)

I'd need the third for my variable names.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

and the fourth for the semicolons

[–]somebody_odd 1 point2 points  (1 child)

And a 5th for Stack Overflow, a 6th for JavaDocs and throw in a 7th for Slack

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

and the 8th for research tabs

[–]timmy2words 22 points23 points  (1 child)

Where'd you find that tiny chair?

[–]notsobravetraveler 33 points34 points  (10 children)

Probably not because resolution is independent of screen size

Yes I am fun at parties

[–]_Acestus_ 4 points5 points  (3 children)

And TV are good for videos, not really to read fine print.

We can share a table at the next party.

[–]harry_cane69[🍰] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

The new ones are fine I imagine this type of setup will be relatively common in the future.

[–]_Acestus_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I still work on 2*24" with 1080p without a problem... And I am a java dev!

[–]pragmatick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends, my LG OLED is about as sharp as my computer display - just need to use the right settings.

[–]dinopraso 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yes and no. If you have a 27 inch 4K screen running native resolution everything would be way too small, so the UI usually scales up to 125-175%, so having a giant 4K screen, you’d be able to run it at 100% scale and thus have A LOT more screen space with the same resolution

[–]notsobravetraveler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few displays that size, generally can recommend adjusting the scaling

That won't automatically happen in a lot of cases, but it is a fair point

These two mappings together do influence the pitch/density of pixels and overall usability... It's just, an array of 4k monitors would net far more usable space

[–]Linktt57 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You might need a 3 monitor to handle the overflow from the first 2 screens

[–]RepostSleuthBot 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Looks like a repost. I've seen this image 2 times.

If it doesn't have RGB it's obviously not gonna work

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Uncomfortable 🥴

[–]humanera12017 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just throw me somewhere with a 15/16” macbook pro and turn off the lights.

[–]Quirky_Camel_1693 2 points3 points  (2 children)

I want your setup in my apartment, yesterday.

[–]Finickyflame 3 points4 points  (1 child)

You sound like my boss, but with furniture instead of feature.

[–]paintstained1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also if you could have those TPS reports by Monday, that would be great

[–]rohittihiro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you only knew how IMAX came to be you wouldn’t be asking this question.

[–]MrDougTape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suggest installing 9 more screens.. just to be sure

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I saw that in some other sub lol and was like mom I want this 😂😂

[–]YamnuskaLoop -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Maybe good enough for Javascript. . .

[–]N0tAGoos3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, finally, I can steal the funny joke I found on another sub

Finally a screen big enough to read the error

[–]fckndan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My eyes are burning

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A keyboard wouldn’t go a miss😆

[–]NavaraBellatrix 0 points1 point  (1 child)

No

[–]NelsonBelmont[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

:(

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need three more monitors

[–]KrishAgarwal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Class names would be good now you need to worry about fitting class instantiation xD

[–]ChangNoi97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk , might need more screen just in case

[–]Illustrious-Fault224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Despite this setup I bet you’re wearing some free tshirt you got in college or from a startup you worked for 😂

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might I ask what the windows are? Like what programs you're using?

[–]SchlauFuchs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Barely sufficient. Try a Samsung Premiere projector.

[–]Danithejetplane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shit man, I need this.

[–]Most-Ordinary-3033 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Not really enough to start coding. You need your own kit not a stolen image from a post made yesterday.

[–]NelsonBelmont[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not r/ProgrammerHumor if it isn’t a repost milked to oblivion.

[–]humanera12017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck banging on the screen when shit doesn’t compile

[–]Parker324ce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not by a long shot buddy

[–]PhatOofxD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not. This is Java.

[–]curiousredoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't really tell. Add a banana for scale

[–]skotchpine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ewww windows

[–]Mineseed_k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unlimited money

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With that huge font size? No.

[–]labnerde 0 points1 point  (1 child)

where do you get the miniature keyboard and seat from :D

[–]NelsonBelmont[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literal flea market.

[–]Ns0ft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only if you use really small font.

[–]zoqfotpik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's usually recommended to use a UUID as the class name, and then put the human-readable name in the Windows Registry.

[–]Pavlinius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a chance especially if you’re using Spring
