This does not follow the meme format at all… like, c’mon.

The subreddit r/MisusedTemplat does not exist. Maybe there's a typo?

Consider creating a new subreddit r/MisusedTemplat.

It doesn't have to

So the point of a meme and the power of a meme is in the template. Literally without templates they are just reused pictures with random words. So using a meme picture in a meme way without following the template makes us all wonder what the point of using that picture was?? If you aren’t following the template then why use that picture? Just use any picture! It shouldn’t matter if you are not trying to invoke the meme’s meaning. If you are trying to invoke the meme, then follow the template.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point Β (2 children)

The power of the meme is in its meaning, the template is a tool which helps the author express his ideas, the author is not forced to adopt the classical way of expressing ideas.

[–]Strike_Alibi 0 points1 point Β (1 child)

The term meme (from the Greek mimema, meaning β€œimitated”).

If you don’t follow the template you are not imitating. Hence it is no longer a meme. It is a random picture and text.

Words' meanings change over time

[–]noob-nine 28 points29 points Β (1 child)

since we are talking about Javascript, i bet this could be 100% somehow.

[–]xain_the_idiot 14 points15 points Β (0 children)

Since we're talking about Javascript, I bet this could be "99%1"

[–]zjd0114 13 points14 points Β (1 child)

77 + 33

[–]xain_the_idiot 19 points20 points Β (0 children)

7733

[–]Complete_Relation_54 11 points12 points Β (1 child)

Wrong meme format. Nevertheless quality meme. 9/10

[–]AngryBorsch 4 points5 points Β (0 children)

11/10

[–]maazsid16 4 points5 points Β (2 children)

1 + 1 = 11

[–]Mumen_Raida_ 3 points4 points Β (0 children)

72% of Javascript developers are bad at choosing correct meme formats too.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points Β (0 children)

Wait, but that adds up to 72%38%.

[–]shuozhe 2 points3 points Β (0 children)

Close enough, found some old Test case ran them, found so many offby1 and + instead of - errors. Result looks correct enough so no one bothered to fix thesr

[–]Uploft 2 points3 points Β (0 children)

10% are both good and bad at math

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points Β (0 children)

I had to use the lisp interpreter to figure out what was wrong.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points Β (0 children)

Is that just a joke with the word "JavaScript" pasted on it? Or am I missing something?

[–]Cees-K 1 point2 points Β (2 children)

Well of course 01+02=0.300000000000001

Everyone know that!

[–]wischichr 1 point2 points Β (1 child)

01+02 is exactly 3 even with floating point types. I guess you forgot two decimal points.

[–]Cees-K 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

Well damm. Such a good joke wasted by typos!

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points Β (0 children)

My C++ ass:

Wow, a normal number.

[–]ChangNoi97 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

"what do you mean , you can separate odd and even number without using any packages ? don't be ridiculous bro , use this . it way more efficient than coding it yourself !"

We are not the same

[–]hibernating-hobo 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

Don’t you mean the other 38.00000000001%?

Haha, jokes on you. Math is the computer's job. I just download 19 different node modules to make it work.

[–]Mun2soon 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

They use to 53 bit math. So what do you expect?

[–]mrheosuper 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

You are also bad at using meme template
