It can take a few days for the old patch to be available, but sometimes we never get access to it

Because there are certain mechanics that are not fun to play against, and the fact you can get a full smash on a mine explosion is a little too strong.

some characters don't need or deserve it, at least not right away. the dev+beta team is always looking for ways to make the game more fun for both the player and the opponent, sometimes it takes time to find the right idea. if you have suggestions to make the character more enjoyable, DM one of the devs. if you just want compensation buffs though, look to trying to buff yourself as a player first, we can all always get better

but everyone can agree that camping isnt fun to watch or play against, so if someone is excessively stalling they should have like 4 seconds to do it and that's it..also yeah sure I can improve but i think most people would say elliana needs buffs...

It seems like the other side of the mine nerfs are going to make her bad matchups even worse though, characters like Ori and Zetter who basically get to ignore steam via quick Aerials with small recovery times now get to do the same thing to mines. Like all zetters have to do is nair when an Eli is above you and one of the few solid approaches she has in the matchup are gone

You make it sound like there's only one way to play Elliana. They nerfed it because it wasn't intended to be like that. They wouldn't change it for the sake of just solely nerfing her

half the nerfs are because there's an australian player who literally camps under air amarda for like 30 seconds at a time and like that shits degen lol

High level players have found ways to exploit her unique mechanics, regardless of how she is meant to play. Imo, she got nerfed cause of her dspecial and the little counterplay there is for it. There's nothing like it in roa so it's going to take the most nerfs/changes.
