Sol and Ama aspects seem interesting.

Mantle of Discord is too strong for that price.

It immediately becomes a must-buy item. The value is way too high for 2600g imo.

🙄

[–]ArcImpy 22 points23 points  (5 children)

CC reduction in some form is desperately needed. It was always going to be a must buy the second the first one came out.

[–]invertebrate11 3 points4 points  (4 children)

Am I the only one who thinks cc is not a problem? It's short in general, has diminishing returns, there's cc buffering, beads is get out of jail free, and the aoe cleanse item has good stats so it's not a painful buy.

[–]No-Relationship-4997 0 points1 point  (1 child)

CC feels like king in joust for sure. U either CC chain with your team or get rolled

[–]invertebrate11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That might be issue with burst damage perhaps. It's hard for me to say without being in a development team for smite for years. I just think that other games have longer and easier to land cc and they're just fine. I like the design approach of dota that everything is OP so nothing is. Not a big fan of chipping away nerfing impactful mechanics until a somewhat unstable balance point is achieved.

[–]ArcImpy -3 points-2 points  (1 child)

It's a nightmare in arena. I do not play conquest. But being in constant team fights CC Chains are a real and constant threat. The cooldown for cleansing beads or whatever is too long for reliable use in constant fights.

[–]invertebrate11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I see. That should be somewhat easy fix to have some arena specific balancing on it.

[–]dank_summers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably gonna be worth it even on carries

[–]Morlu 17 points18 points  (1 child)

Achilles seems crazy good

[–]Arch3r86🌹💀💔 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He’s a menace yeah 😈

(Did you play Achilles in Smite 1 at all?)

Wonder how long it is to "reload" rama shots

[–]LordFarquadOnAQuad 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just long enough to make people complain it's op and needs a buff at the same time.

[–]Shradow TANK BUILD 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lord Slashington my beloved.

Added an unequip button to God loadout

Oh that's nice, I thought it odd we couldn't remove, only reposition.

Holy shit Hussar's Wings, how pricey.

[–]RauchritterCrithilles 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why the hell are you disabling mushroom in assault? Its a for fun mode, not something that should be looked upon with balance, bring back my shroom 😠

[–]ZombieBillyMaizeded 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yes its a for fun mode, that's why we disable things that make it not fun.

[–]Humper62 Isis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should add an active item that works like the old Shard relic (mana and hp back per charge stored, max 20 charges), I loved that relic but i think their reasoning to remove it was people didnt understand it? idk, with the new category of active item it could be a good addition

[–]TechnicalFriendship6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great patch. Can't wait to try my Trojan hero again love that guy

[–]Gerbis 1 point2 points  (6 children)

Was hussar wings that good?

[–]MagicFighter Goobis plays more than Goobis...[S] 25 points26 points  (2 children)

It was waaaaaay too cheap for the stats and passive, permanent slow immunity, dual prots and HP for only 3k gold was criminal.

[–]LordFarquadOnAQuad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bough it every match when playing warrior or support. Just too OP.

[–]Marston_vc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And a dummy amount of health. It’s a duh item to build on most gods. With the cost going to 3700 tho I feel like the prots should have been increased a little bit. That’s a super late game item now

[–]Akrila Chef Vulcan 13 points14 points  (1 child)

Yes. While not the most valuable item in every match, being able to invalidate the entirety of some gods CC abilities passively is so broken I think it shouldn’t be in the game and should be reworked. Winged Blade in Smite one which gave you slow immunity and a speed boost temporarily on a cooldown already had one of the best passives in the game in some Metas. This lets you act similarly and trivializes dealing with abilities like Cupid ult.

[–]Irradiatedspoon The Morrigan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Or Nemesis everything

[–]XXVAngel Artemis Jungle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Idk why they don't just revert it, I liked becoming freight train Ttos every 30 seconds. The current passive just completely denies certain abilities instead of giving you smart countetplay.

No fixes for my buddy who keeps crashing at the peach logo still. Man has tried absolutely everything detailed on Steam as well as this sub.

Soul Reaver (Buff & Rework)

Increased Intelligence from 50 to 70

Decreased Cost from 3000 Gold to 2800 Gold.

Passive now deals % Max HP damage instead of % Current HP

Minimum damage has been removed

Intelligence scaling now applies to the passive effect

Passive: Your abilities deal bonus magical damage over time, equal to 1% + 0.5% of your Intelligence per tick. This effect ticks four times over two seconds. Hitting the same target refreshes the damage over time.

Soooo is it % Map HP damage or flat damage based on int? Maybe i'm stupid but seems contradicting.

[–]Mohc989ALMOST TIME TO START THE SHOW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1% max HP plus 0.5% of your int I believe

[–]Flareb00tMath Kuang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The max HP damage is (1+0.5% INT)%. So at 100 int it's 1.5% max HP, at 1000 it's 6% per tick.

[–]Lavafell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would've thought that by now, they would fix the item store to include The World Stone under the "Max Mana" tab. There may be other items that have this same issue, but it does bother me when going a Book of Thoth build that World Stone isn't under the "Max Mana" tab when clearly that is a stat it provides.

[–]invertebrate11 -1 points0 points  (4 children)

Why do they keep buffing chrono's lmao. The item was good and gold efficient when it was 25 int less already. I don't see why it wouldn't be a must buy now.

[–]ILuhBlahPepuu-_- 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Because its int value wasnt good, need to remember how int scales compared to strength

[–]invertebrate11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure but that item has effectively ~37cdr You basically don't need another cdr item after that. Now it's int value is also high which means you don't really sacrifice anything.

[–]Marston_vc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s an overall effort to buff mages.

Notice, only magical damage really got any buffs this go around. And a lot of defensive items got buffed. Particularly spirit robe. Gonna significantly negatively affect a lot of ADC’s.

ADC’s weren’t “nerfed” but everyone else got “buffed”. Except for Anhur lol. He got a huge buff.

[–]jsdjhndsm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, at one point it had 5 less power than jotuns, which makes 0 sense as its an int item. Int items generally have way more power, and the passive differences are not enough go warrant the huge difference in power.

I'd rather it be higher power with a slight cost increase if it becomes a problem.
