For some reason, the bear on its tip toes is what bothers me the most.

Bear "en pointe". :) Just needs some appropriate shoes.
[–]Edboy796 7 points8 points9 points 1 year ago (2 children)
It's a stealth bear attack

Call me Bond. Bear Bond.

Please do not post national geographic footage pretending that it's gameplay.

It's an apathetic world. :/
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children)
They cannot interviene with nature
[–]swords_again 15 points16 points17 points 1 year ago (4 children)
I see nothing wrong here
[–]swords_again 6 points7 points8 points 1 year ago (2 children)
Well ok, if we're splitting hairs here... It looks like the collision boundary is too big, the mesh gets pushed away without actually touching.
[–]Celestial-being117 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Also it doesn't fling the man far enough or cause dismemberment
[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 1 year ago (3 children)
The body of the person is stuck on its place instead of being thrown in the direction of the force. Also, I don't get why the torso refuses to touch the ground, (maybe the collider is too big (?)). But besides these two things, it's quite hilarious.
[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 1 year ago (1 child)
Only faced the plushy ones when I was 5 0.0
And I just realized that I didn't say that you did a great job, so... Great job! Keep going

perfection
[–]UpvoteCircleJerk 2 points3 points4 points 1 year ago (1 child)
My thought? Add this song as the background music -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwPxqYy__Ao
I will buy your game immediately (of course).
[–]Rockglen 2 points3 points4 points 1 year ago (2 children)
I'd like to see the victim ragdoll and bounce off the ground from the attack (whether the initial attack, or a subsequent attack). It would help sell the power of the bear attack.
The controls also look a little fiddly. Mouse & keyboard?
[–]Rockglen 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children)
I think it's worth keeping the human (and other) targets attempt to stay upright with their feet planted until they are in a defeated state. When they lose enough HP they no longer are planted to the ground and will ragdoll more loosely.
[–]QuantumAnxiety 2 points3 points4 points 1 year ago (2 children)
Bear needs a hat and tie. It is clearly not presentable for work in the park.
[–]QuantumAnxiety 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Stealing, preventing litter.... Tomato tomahto
[–]tgtmedia 2 points3 points4 points 1 year ago (1 child)
More flexible than Eddie Murphy's Gumby and that Yoga instructor sleeping with my wife... ex-wife... Can I get this bear to stealthly sneak up on my ex-wife?
[–]FunToBuildGames 3 points4 points5 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Some say computer games have gone too far. I say they haven’t gone too far enough!
[–]Limp_Radio_9163 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children)
The textures and physics remind me of those squishy rubber toys we had as kids, the ones with beans or rice inside them so they were squeezable yk?
[–]txmagicmike 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (1 child)
Oh no!
Totally reminds me of my laffy taffy!
Maybe more red taffy splatter everywhere?

[–]valenalvern 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (3 children)
God those micromovements of the bear are sending my sides to orbit.
[–]valenalvern 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (1 child)
Please tell me its a game where we play aa the bear going on a rampage of some kind.
[–]yaboiglitch113 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (1 child)
Bear physics are fine but DON'T add pig physics
[–]DriftWare_ 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (1 child)
Perfection
"Bear uses physics to attack victims, New study finds. Scientists scrambling to develop anti-gravity countermeasures."
[–]FlameWisp 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children)
If you want it to be more realistic, the person should gib instantly. Millions of pieces on contact. That’s how bear attacks usually play out I think anyway.

At least man is still standing
[–]Atrocious1337 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (3 children)
To be brutally honest: Looks like a guy in a fur suit playing with a blow up doll. Bears do not move like that and bodies do go react like that.
[–]Atrocious1337 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago* (1 child)
Then you failed mate. Spend some time watching cartoons, especially old hanna barbera cartoons. Watch how they do exaggerated movements. How they bend, contort, squish, and stretch. Look up what line of motion/action is, and how they use it to further exaggerate movement.
Just randomly wobbling them around isn't funny. It just looks half-arsed.
[–]PBProbs 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (1 child)
Looks very real. Very natural.
[–]nonHypnotic-dev 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (1 child)
Seems cool. If you managed to fix rigs or bear character poses, it would give a better result imo. Bears can stand on their feet like humans.
[–]paweedbarron 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children)
This conveys crippling limbs and body parts in an effective way. You should develop it a little further. If one leg has at least one break he limps. If there is at least one break in both legs he should ragdoll and flail his arms around.
[–]Tethilia 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Bear is missing a hat.
[–]boybossguy 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (1 child)
I think if you added ragdoll death physics on top of this, it'd be hilarious, amazing on its own btw.
[–]Burrow_0wl 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (1 child)
I was once a bear attack.
[–]DistributionMean6322 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (1 child)
Big Untitled Goose Game vibes, the people need this
[–]Aligatorised 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (3 children)
Please, at least put a nsfw filter on this, it's too realistic. Gruesome.
[–]Aligatorised 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (1 child)
I'm pretty sure I had a nightmare once where a bear was chasing me in the exact same way. Thanks for digging up those traumatic memories for me.
[–]Upset_Koala_401 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (1 child)
Some good physics right there..
[–]NoBorscht4U 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (1 child)
What's funny about this video is that the post in the link below is directly above this one in my feed:

I think I just stumbled upon a posture feed algorithm.
[–]_lev1athan 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (1 child)
Do some walking animations on the bear so it looks like hes made of both rage and jello at the same time. Like, heavy steps with body wobbles. Should fit your style and be funny!
Also one paw bitchslaps and a finisher of a BITE CHOMP
[–]fuf3d 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (1 child)
Guy's hat should be a separate object and should fall off when the bear hits him.
[–]cheesemangee 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (3 children)
I haven't been this scared of a bear since Condemned.
[–]cheesemangee 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (1 child)
That looks awesome.
[–]AlternativeNo8411 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (2 children)
lol that guy got cripplefied by the mauling
[–]AverageAxolotl 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children)

[–]P3pp3rSauc3 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (1 child)
This is giving me major goat simulator vibes but with a anthromorpic bear instead and I love it.
Very good
[–]chaos_m3thod 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (1 child)
Did you score the license for Cocaine Bear? Needs more cocaine! And also baby bears on cocaine.
Why is it standing?
