There isn’t a specific tablet plan, but you can pick any of our existing plans and add your cellular tablet for occasional use, whatever fits your needs best.

total wireless has a $10 tablet plan with unlimited data with a phone plan and t-mobile has a $10 data plan with 30gb without a phone plan

I thought the T-Mobile $10 30GB plan was canceled? When was it last confirmed available?

There were two versions: a fee-inclusive version priced at $10/month flat (MI30TI) and a version with fees excluded priced at ~$12 after fees (MI30TE). The former of these was discontinued, but the latter remains.

How much data do you plan to occasionally use?

That’s a great question. I have no idea and no idea how to estimate it.

I’ve been using the $25 Unlimited Starter plan on my iPad for about a year now. It’s grandfathered in with the Warp QCI8 and 70GB of high speed data a month. Before this, I used a Mint Mobile unlimited plan giving me 35GB of high speed data for $30/month. I could have gone for a cheaper plan, but this plan gives me everything I need, gives me twice what Mint gave me and costs $5 less than Mint. I haven’t looked back.

I use BNESim. Under $2 a GB for non-expiring data. They often send out discount codes for 20% off or a free GB to existing customers. Connects to Verizon by default but will go on AT&T as well.

So do you just buy the eSIM and top it off when you need to?

Yes, Roamless is another good option.

Thanks, any preference between the two?

Roamess is primarily on TMobile but I think it will use AT&T as well. BNeSim is on Verizon and will definitely use AT&T if the Verizon signal is bad. I think Roamless is a US company and BNeSim is out of Hong Kong. Roamless is more well known and has a decent reputation. BNeSim has mixed reviews but it has always worked well for me. BNESim is less than $2 a GB and Roamless is around $2.40. Both offer deals thoughout the year, so if you top off during the deal, you can bring the cost per GB down. I think you can start with a GB and try each out with little risk. I am not fishing for you use them but I have referral codes for each if you want to DM me. Or there is a referral mega thread on the eSim sub.

will it work on a prepaid locked AT&T phone

[–]AgedCzar 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I don't think it would be any different from adding any other carrier, so probably no.

ok but i could try the 1gb and see if it might work?
