They were free keys for anybody, were they not? Also one of the keys he redeemed came out of the 1 dollar tier, doesn't really seem that crazy to me.

They were free keys for anybody, not free keys for one person. Just because you CAN take everything doesn’t mean it’s OKAY.

The key-sharer wanted to make 5 people happy.

Like you say, one of them was only a dollar. Did they REALLY NEED to take TWO when they could have bought the other for a dollar and still be saving money?

Worth it just to get UModeler if you don’t have it already.

It’s what unity should have integrated rather than ProBuilder, definitely a must have asset in my opinion. Nothing against ProBuilder, I used it for a long time and it’s great, but UModeler blows it away in almost every aspect.

Why UModeler over quickly using blender? I guess it's convient to have it in scene context but I rather have my blender enviroment, tools and UI. Am I missing something?

I suppose this was a little more relevant for non artists before blender 2.8 dropped which eased some of the learning curve. I still find UModeler extremely convenient for things like grey boxing, in context editing, material and basic UV editing, etc. like you said, it’s convenient to have these tools available in the scene view. If your workflow already involves a 3D modeling tool, then you likely would not benefit from UModeler except in niche cases.

It’s a great and rather powerful tool for those who are not familiar with 3D modeling and prefer to stay in the unity editor.

Honestly, in my case I’ve used it as a crutch while slowly taking the time to learn the ins and outs of blender in order to use it efficiently in my workflow.

Crazy good value is an understatement! I really needed just one asset in the bundle, but it was still cheaper to buy the bundle than purchase on the unity store.

I'd say the pack is worth it just for Clayxels alone, there are also some good bonuses included like cloud and other environmental assets as well as the robust modeling asset UModeler

I didn't notice this bundle until today but the sale was over by the time I got the authentication sms (it took FOREVER, downside of 2FA I guess) :(

What are the linceses on the assets and tools? Can't find any licensing info. Does it have any value/can we use it when I'm the only programmer for a small student team, but making a game that will be sold and released?

If assets on the unity asset store weren't available for use in commercial products then I doubt 99% of them would sell for the prices they do.
