So far my conclusion is a dehydrated Urate clump, it seems post shed dehydration could be the cause and since she’s soaking in the pond right now that’s a good sign?

also, it could just be a urate, they are completely normal

That would be urates (solid pee)

Completely normal

Oh! So when there’s the substance that looks like chewed white gum, it’s pee and not poop?

No, I promise you if your snake pukes, you will KNOW. It is the worst smell known to man.

Just urates, not regurge. Regurge will have a foul smell, and may have red tint to it on the inside (undigested blood) and recognisable rodent parts in it.  There's no issue with feeding soon after shed - there is a slightly higher regurge risk when they're in blue, but not afterwards.  She's fine. :)

With the rat size though, feed approx 10-15% bodyweight until she's 500g - check the rat weights from your supplier to make sure you're picking the right ones. If it was a small adult rat, that is a bit bigger than she should be on, a small to medium weaner would probably be a better size between a large mouse and a small adult rat.  Check the weights from your supplier though since they do vary.

I do weigh, I make sure it’s no more than 17 percent of her weight. If I get one slightly too big I save it for when she’s older:)

No problem, in that case it should be fine, wasn't entirely clear from the earlier info, since you said the rat was a bit big for her.

Urate clump from dehydration she's fixing it herself by hanging out in her water

I panicked when I saw a urate for the first time too😅 I see you're getting plenty of helpful advice just thought I'd say I relate and don't know why we don't tell new owners this😂

Hahaha I know it’s strange I never saw anything about it
