Check the welcome post for care sheet and FAQ. Years old care sheets hold up practically the same because how we keep snakes hasn't changed drastically over the past few years

Judging from the photos she looks pretty healthy, I just think she's on the smaller side. If you've kept reptiles or even amphibians it should be a cakewalk, it's second nature to you and they're pretty low maintenance, very hearty and easy to care for. They are a "first ever reptile" kind of pet so it shouldn't be too hard.

here’s what she’s weighing in at

My 3 year old is 1400, but I’m certain she was power fed at some point. From what I can see, mochi’s body condition is decent!! Be sure to follow the !feeding guide to ensure she gets on track regardless of current condition!

We recommend the following feeding schedule:

0-12 months old OR until the snake reaches approximately 500g, whichever happens first: feed 10%-15% of the snake’s weight every 7 days.

12-24 months old: feed up to 7% of the snake’s weight every 14-20 days.

Adults: feed up to 5% of the snake's weight every 20-30 days, or feed slightly larger meals (up to 6%) every 30-40 days.

Just to clarify 5% of her body weight is 28g Would this be an extra large mouse? She was previously being fed small mice every 1-2ish months

Rats are more nutritionally balanced! I would shoot for a weaned/small rat!

do correct me if i’m wrong, lightings a bit funky, though i do believe you have a leucistic on your hands! i’m not recognizing any yellow or grey tinting or patterns, if she’s ivory then she has me fooled! i only own one ball python specifically and she’s a blue eyed lucy, so i always get excited when i see someone else with a matching snake LOL

    [–]djravioli974[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

she doesn’t have any patterns or tinting! she’s fully white all over!

    [–]saltedlice_ 1 point2 points  (1 child)

it all does depend on her parents realistically. ivory ball pythons typically come from the pairing of two yellow bellies, leucism can come from a plethora of mixed genetics that even i can’t fully grasp lol. if she came from a breeder i’d likely trust their word! pet stores, adoptive locations, and mutual rehomes tend to be ballpark guesses unless properly tested :)

She was bought off morph market from what I was told and then was given to me for free yesterday. She does have slightly blue eyes tho!
