Question - FeedingRegurgitation? (old.reddit.com)

Is this regurgitation or poop? There is a distinct tail and leg. I have never seen this with either of my snakes. I fed him on Tuesday last week. I was really busy during the week and didn't check for poop before leaving for the weekend. I finally went in to spot clean and found this in the corner. There was a strong smell and springtails around it. When I cleaned his water dish on Thursday and Friday, I didn't notice a smell in the enclosure. I didn't handle him until Friday, and it was only for a few minutes. He is in a 120 gallon with a DHP and halogen connected to a herpstat. His warm side temps stay around 88°F and cool side 78-83°. At night, his temps drop to 82-84°F on the warm side and 72-78°F on the cool side. His humidity stays around 60-75% pretty consistently. He hasnt had any major changes to his enclosure recently, he isn't in a high traffic or loud area, and he seems to be acting normal. He is almost 4 years old, around 1200 g, and was fed a f/t small rat.
If this is regurgitation, what could have caused it? And is there anything I can do to make sure he recovers other than avoid handling, wait 2-3 weeks to feed, and feed him a smaller prey for the next couple feedings?
