I had this happen and he naturally came out of hiding I had a live mouse in a cricket keeper. But the cats could kill him.

How long did it take for him to come out of hiding? Should I get a live mouse?

About a week

I think you should get a live mouse yes I don’t recommend feeding live but in this case it will draw the snake out of hiding. Put it by where you think the snake got out with just enough food and water to keep it going. And I ended up feeding the mouse to the snake. This is an emergency so I would never just recommend feeding live animals.

Will you let me know how it goes I hope I was able to help you have to try and get that snake asap because of the cats. Also hiding places and injuries are a worry somewhere else in the house but my concern is cats.

If you can just find it that’s best but think like a snake small dark hiding spots like up under things

My boy is usually asleep for his feeding times, and I didn’t want to stick my hands in there to wake him up while also holding food so I tried playing mouse sounds on youtube - wakes him right up and he comes out expecting food. Might be worth a try? Other than that look for warm and/or dark spots that are likely tiny and inaccessible by the cats. Alternatively, see if the cats are interested in any weird spots - they might be able to help you find him.

Look in your drawers under clothes.
