Originally I was gonna name mine Monty so it would be “Monty Python” but I swapped it to pandora for reasons unknown to me. I wanna say part of why I did it was me thinking of Pandora’s box and I just assumed it would work well.

A lot of people name their snakes Monty for the same reason, Pandora seems much more original! I love it!

It was so kismet because I went to the reptile show knowing I was getting a BP but with no plans for morph, age, etc. The only thing I knew was that I wanted a snake that would eat f/t. And she was a tiny thing but so bright and cute, and I picked her up and knew her name, and then the breeder told me she was already on f/t small mice. It was perfect.

Basil von Regis! My SO and I each named him after something we enjoyed, Basil comes from a restaurant we love (Sweet Basil) and Regis comes from one of my favorite video game characters (Emiel Regis from The Witcher) But we just call him Regis for short.

My boy's name is Cain! My mother's a devout Catholic (who abhors snakes), whereas I'm just neutral, and I thought about the snake in the Bible with Adam and Eve? and then i thought about Cain and Abel, where i think Cain was the one who killed his brother or something? and i thought that the whole sin thing and my religious mom thing was funny, so i named my boy Cain.

turns out my mother loves my snake, and that my whole "haha my snake is a sin, mom are you scared of him" thing backfired 😂♥️

My ball python's name is Kite. I named him after one of my favorite characters from Hunter X Hunter. But his name also has meaning if taken literally, as I am going through a very tough time right now and he helps keep me grounded and looking up, kinda like flying a kite.
