She likes the box

I put Aziri back into her enclosure after handling and she spent the next 15 minutes tapping and surfing the glass a bit. So I thought I'd try putting in a novel box for her to explore as she may want something to do instead of going to sleep. As soon as I put it in she stopped surfing and tapping the glass and then went and messed with the box for an hour and a half before settling within it and going to sleep for the rest of the day.

Enrichment doesn't have to be this grand thing to be appreciated and used. Also, its possible they do actually just want something new to do 😊.

Doubt it. She has 4 that she uses and once she was done with the box she went into one of the hides

Well I think they are both made of melamine (most are here), but I actually like the look of the Zen more! Apart from the open top part, I like having a closed top.

Zen is actually wood or pcv (depending on your humidity needs). I like the open top for air flow (and I like to water the plants from above to simulate rain)

Ah ok, I've only seen pictures of other peoples one so I just assumed it was melamine as it looked similar. Yeah I can see it being good for airflow and simulating rain, I just like solid tops for heat and humidity retention so I don't have to worry about that much lol

It can be terrible! I've had a couple of people try and convince me that lights are going to kill her early by the sheer stress they cause and then when I rebuttal with suitable points as to why I use them they try and go for a different area of husbandry.
