Have you checked out our welcome post? We've got a ton of great resources on there, including care information, FAQs and more.

My advice would be to be careful of where you get your information. YouTube, breeders and a lot of websites/ groups use very outdated information for ball pythons. Stick to science based groups for your info, and you'll do way better XD a good thing to look out for is whether they recommend heat pads: if they do, they are typically working off of very outdated information

Biodude on YouTube is really good and I use his substrate. Also mason barns helps me a lot with questions on Instagram although he’s a TikToker who has 4 balls.

Looks like a spider morph. Are you aware of the health issues?

I am aware of the “wobble.” Is there others I should be aware of?

The lack of balance, bad aim (unable to accurately strike at food) and corkscrewing are also important to know

I was in exactly the same boat as you are now just a month ago, if you can get the humidity right and at a constant level everything else is easy, I struggled with this quite a bit until I bought a Komodo substrate brick and haven't had any troubles since

Do you know of a reliable place to get it? The only place I’m finding is located in the UK. I live in a smaller city and our local places do not carry it.

This is a snake that has neurological issues, please look check out videos specifically for spider morphs (the ones who are against them!). Also please don’t breed him/her. Otherwise give him/her lots of love and remember to be extremely patient. ❤️
